  • Running dynamic metrics are great!
Easy to connect, comfortable, working really well so far, and the extra running dynamic metrics this provides are worth the extra money alone! Was dealing with some knee/back issues and with this tool I was able to determine my symmetry was off (51%+ off to the right foot). So using it every day now to ensure better symmetry with is seeming to keep my knee from flaring up. ... show more

  • Great when it worked
Stopped working a little after one year and one battery change. Wont connect to watch, wont measure heart rate. disappointing for having paid so much.

  • Good for the first 3 months, and then becomes garbage
What I love: (1) Accuracy is second to none (2) Great running dynamics such as ground contact time (GCT), vertical oscillation, etc. But to be honest, these features are already overreaching for a casual athlete like me. (3) Easily connects to my Garmin Fenix 6X Sapphire What I hate: (1) Only good for 3 months until poor quality issues surface. See, my strap got broken in half without me doing anything. This is not the quality I expect from a USD 100 heart rate, knowing that there are a plethora of cheaper heart rate straps in the market (2) Stopped working when I tried to change the batteries, followed the instructions to the T (3) Garmin customer service is like waiting for blood to come out of a stone. See, I spend tons of money to call their hotline and then press a couple of buttons to get to customer representative, only finding our I had to wait for 30-45 minutes. I've been on hold for like 8 calls already. See, you can't even e-mail them, you need to get thru the customer service hotline. Annoying as hell. Now I don't know how to reach out to these guys. ... show more

  • Heart Rate Monitor
I'm still using the 920XT and 520+ on my bike. Some of my training is HR based, so I need to wear an HRM. I just wear it into the shower after my workout and either rinse or wash it. I seem to get 12-16 months out of these things no matter how I treat them. I use it six days per week average.

  • Excellent tool to add metrics to your running
If you have a garmin fenix 3 HR and above, you already have a heart rate meter at wrist level. Nevertheless, this heart rate belt provides more precise measure as it takes its readings straight from the heart. Furthermore, when you wear the belt, it will register other important and interesting metrics, such as cadence, ground contact time, etc. Important to keep a clear view of how your running performs. ... show more

  • Good for 1 year
I just wish the material the strap was made out of was a little more durable and wicked water a little better
