Horrible Customer Service
I bought this watch on January 16th, and immediately started having problems with it. When I received it, it had problems connecting with the Garmin Connect app. By May, all of the data was corrupt coming out of the watch. The body battery would drain to 5% every day, wouldn't register that I'd slept during the evening at all, and the body battery wouldn't recharge. If I reset the watch, the body battery would go to an assumed level and do the same thing throughout the day. I reached out to support and had ongoing emails back and forth as they asked me to diagnose the problem with their watch. I finally go them to agree to replace my watch after a month of this. Sent the watch back, UPS shows it was received at Garmin's facility 2 weeks ago, yet Garmin can't seem to find it so I haven't been shipped out the replacement. So it's been almost 6 months since I purchased this watch, and I don't actually have a functioning watch now.

Expexted more Scratch-Resistant for Titanium Version
After unboxing in the 4th day, a scratch at the back and a dent in the front. Bumping into a wooden coffee table once but Titanium vs Wood? The scratch close to the charging port... not sure how it even got there. Didn't take it off after fully charged for the first week. Sleep tracking was working with firmware update to 10.10. After a week or so, it showed "No Sleep Data Recorded" two nights in a row. Wait n see if the issue persists in the 3rd night.

It does motivate you to stay in shape
I thought it would be bulky, cumbersome but a necessary evil to keep track of my activities and stay motivated. Boy I was wrong, it looks wonderful despite my moderately sized wrist. The coach program is fantastic - tracking of steps, other activities... the configurability and flexibility also fantastic. It does take a while though to understand what all the button sequences are! I have not checked the accuracy of the HR monitor, sometimes it feels a bit off, and the sleep tracking is not fantastic. Have had a rough couple of weeks and realized the watch tells my I've been sleeping all 8 hours, when I have unfortunately been seeing on my table watch 2:12, 2:42, 3:05, 3:20, 3:45, 4:01, 4:40, 5:30 and time to get up. So, sleep tracking not good. Love the fact that it can sync up with my airpods, so can go for a run without my phone - and since it does have Garmin pay I can do the watch payment thingy also while out on a run to get my post workout fix. Expensive, but worth it.

It's a great watch, heart rate sensor can be not-so-good at times.
If you're not used to the world of sports watches, don't expect something like an Apple Watch. It's specifically designed for athletes and Garmin pulls out all of the stops with the Fenix. I owned a Forerunner 235 for 3 years prior to buying the Fenix 6. The Forerunner is a great watch, but the Fenix 6 takes it up to whole other level. It's a fairly big watch and I have small wrists (see picture), but I don't mind the size. I wear it all day and all night. Pro tip: loosen the strap at night. The HR data seems to be accurate enough at night even when its loose. The buttons are high quality and easy to use while running. I find it very easy to get data from the watch and use it while running. There are a LOT of features and menus and it could probably take a full day just to figure out where everything is. For example, you just started running but you want to turn the auto-lap feature off... well, be prepared for some fiddling at first. Luckily I had a sense of where this was from using my Forerunner but stuff like that can be difficult to figure out Here are the top 5 features I like: * Altimeter: When I do hills runs, it's nice to know in real time how much elevation gain I've covered * Training Status: This gives me some feedback about my training. Take it with a grain of salt but it's nice to have a second opinion about how I'm training. See my comments below about heart rate tracking * Compass & Maps: I use the Garmin Connect app to plan long runs then load them onto the watch. I added a compass to the main activity screen so it'll tell me which direction I'm heading and which direction my course is. If I get off course I can quickly figure out which direction is the right direction. I have not used the visual maps feature because honestly it seems hard to read. * Highly customizable screens. Much more than the Forerunner 235. In fact it can be a bit overwhelming! * Battery life: it's very good, and very customizable to squeeze out more battery life. The pulse oximeter is ... cool I guess, but kinda useless. I honestly don't know who would get value out of this sensor. It always just reads 95-99% for me and I have no idea what to do with this data anyway. Maybe if I contracted COVID-19 this could be useful, but day-to-day it seems not useful at all. My biggest gripe is the heart rate monitor. I've only had this thing a month and it's been fairly cold where I live. Sometimes the heart rate monitor is accurate, and sometimes it'll randomly jump to 175 bpm or higher for no reason and stay there for 15 minutes, even when it's obvious I'm closer to 140bpm. Sometimes it'll START at 160 when I'm just warming up and running REALLY slow and then eventually settles down to something more reasonable. This throws off all of my training metrics. The watch will say I need 3.5 days to recover from a fairly easy run because it thinks I was running really hard. It happens enough to be kind of a problem, so I ended up spending MORE money on a chest strap HRM which works much better. When I'm not running, the heart rate data seems accurate. When I'm sleeping it seems accurate too.
