  • The best one out there?
Size: 51 mm Style: Pro Sapphire Color: Titanium w/ Whitestone Band
I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and thought about getting this one because I started training for a 10k, and here are some of my initial concerns and how I actually felt about it after getting the watch and testing it for a few months: 1) UI being slow or not as smooth as my Apple Watch - I would say it isn’t as fast as the Apple Watch but at the same time it isn’t as bad as I thought. If you want a watch for visualizing notifications without having to grab your phone then AW may make more sense, otherwise disregard it entirely. 2) Accuracy and data tracking - this is something that might change with the new Apple Watch update coming up in September but as of now and for training purposes, this watch is light years ahead of my AW. It is what it is. The watch not only tracks everything accurately but can also use that data for creating training programs to help you accomplish your goals which is mind blowing. 3) Overall interface and navigation - if you’re just like me 100% immersed into the apple ecosystem it might take a while to get used to it, but once you do, it isn’t really that hard to navigate and to me, for training purposes, accuracy is better than looks. 4) Weight - I was concerned that it would be heavy and bulky but it is super light and flexible, and it doesn’t feel bulky at all. Overall, it boils down to what you want versus what you need. If you’re a casual runner or don’t really care about tracking your training or doesn’t want to race anything, AW has a more friendly UI than this watch, however, if performance matters to you and you like to train hard and push your limits, this watch may be more useful to you and help a lot. Anyways, for social events or daily routine I often go with me AW whereas for everything else this has become my go to watch. ... show more

  • Best Garmin so far
Size: 51 mm Style: Pro Sapphire Color: Titanium w/ Whitestone Band
This is so far the best Garmin has made. Battery life, display brightness and legibility, colors, accuracy, and features are all in my opinion better than other models I have tried. Ended up returning because I didnt tend to really use it enough to validate having.

  • Not too large for women who LIKE big watches!
Size: 51 mm Style: Pro Sapphire Color: Titanium w/ Whitestone Band
I have a 6-inch (15 cm) wrist, and although I jokingly say it’s like wearing one of those school wall clocks on my wrist, I’ve always liked larger watches, and in fact usually choose men’s watches because the women’s watches always seem to “delicate” for me. (I’m athletic and have always leaned toward more power…😁) This is definitely my largest watch by far, but it still feels as if it fits well - I still have more slots left on the band, the sensor/back of watch sit comfortably on my wrist, and since I’m used to larger watches, it doesn’t feel bulky or heavy on me (I honestly barely notice it). The ONLY problem with it (which I fully expected, given its size) is wearing coats or long sleeves (it would definitely present a problem for someone wearing buttoned cuffs, like a men’s dress shirt), but it’s not a big deal - you just have to adjust the end of the sleeve once you pull it over it. As far as functionality, I’ve only had it for a few days, but I love it so far. The screen is beautiful, and while I do like the touchscreen (I had an Apple Watch which had absolutely DISMAL battery life in comparison!), I also like the option of being able to turn that off so that I just use the buttons on the sides instead. (I also have a Garmin Instinct 2X and got used to using the buttons pretty quickly.) Also, LOVE LOVE LOVE the flashlight option!!! Some may say it’s gimmicky, but many others say they use it WAY more than they expected, and I’m one of them! I NEVER want another watch without one! ... show more

  • Kept restarting itself (software bugs)
Size: 51 mm Style: Pro Sapphire Color: Titanium w/ Whitestone Band
Used it for a few months after which the watch kept rebooting or restarting itself whenever I went to check my VO2max data. I looked online for a fix and updated the software but it kept occuring. For a watch to cost $1000 and have such basic software bugs like this made me return it for a refund. I was also very frustrated using it when trail running the map navigation was difficult. Also the wrist heart rate sensor was as terrible as my old forerunner's. I'm hopeful this will get fixed in the next version. ... show more
