    • Will not load golf round to my phone
I really enjoy the S60 on the course. The satellite reception is great. Only one course in my area has a reception problem. Love the shot tracker. The face is easy to navigate. The touch screen works well. The only issue I have experienced is the golf round will load on to my samsung S10+. Garmin connect syncs with watch fine. But the round does not display. I have to conncet the watch to a computer for the round information to upload to website and show up on my phone. I have worked with support but the round still will not display results directly on the garmin golf app. Very disappointed this feature does not work. ... show more

    • Golf GPS... Look No Further
Looking for a GPS for Golf? I originally thought I wasn't going to like this product. Having used a range finder, I didn't think I was going to like wearing this on my wrist. I was pleasantly surprised. This product is very light weight. You almost don't remember it even on your wrist. The screen is awesome, being able to see clearly in bright sunshine and on a full color screen with each course your playing well defined. It shows your position with the yardages. You can select it to show you the plays like distance as well as the standard yardages for tournament play. The screen is not very high definition though, but is more then adequate for a golf watch. The price is steep, but its an investment you won't be disappointed with. Having tossed between the new release for 2019 the Approach S40, this was a no brainer. For me $50 more the features are better and the screen graphics for each hole are much better. This shows you the entire hole while the S40 only shows a graphic with different color lines and in my opinion looks very cheap. The shot tracking is amazing. It is really what sold me on this device. Being able to go in after your round and see what shots you made and from where is awesome. It will also give you club distances on a summary in the Garmin Golf App. You can also download courses so if you don't have internet, you can still launch the golf GPS on the watch.     • I must have gotten a lemon.
I must have gotten a dud because I will charge it up and the screen goes black. None of the buttons work. I am outside the return window so basically I spent a lot of money on a toy that does not work. Even had a fellow golfer work with it to see if it was just me. Charge it up and window goes black with no data. Don't waste your money. Golf buddy is not so accurate but it works without gliches for a fraction of the cUnfortunately the short return window does not allow me to return so I am stuck with a dud. ... show more

    • Garbage, nothing but technical issues.
I've been a loyal Garmin user since 2016. I own a Fenix 3, and a Fenix 5 Plus. I bought this S60 because the battery life in my 5+ has waned to the point that I'm lucky if I get 36 hours out of it (without using GPS). I wanted to wear them both (the S60 for golf and everyday use, and the 5+ for sleep and workout tracking), but this S60 has given me nothing but technical problems. It freezes when you hook it up to Garmin express, freezes when you try to complete a workout, won't sync steps with the Garmin Connect app, the touch screen doesn't work smoothly on the golf course, and consistently goes buggy on me. I would have returned it if it had revealed these issues at first, but instead they didn't surface until after I had worn it for a while and threw out the box. Sadly, I'm a glutton for punishment, and will probably try the S62 next, but I'm super disappointed that this one... such a bad purchase. I don't trust the advertised battery life in any Garmin product by the way. This S60 wasn't bad (a few days), but my 5+ never made it more than 2 days. My Fenix 3 was incedible... lasted almost 2 weeks depending on activity level and GPS usage. I'll try one more Garmin before I write them off, but the S60 is a waste of time and money.     • Watch face not very bright nor HD. Can get a better quality device at a lower price.
The device would not stay paired with the phone, but worst part was the visibility. The watch face's resolution looks like it's analog, not HD. The quality does not justify the $300 price tag.
