  • Bought June of 22
I’ve owned this almost 2 years. It’s great. Simple to use, I strapped it on and played. Very accurate. Some of my golf buddies have laser rangefinders and my watch is right with them. All i have to do is glance at my wrist. Battery life is great, I can play several rounds. Definitely enjoy this watch. I’ve been to numerous courses and they’re al in there. ... show more

  • Very good golf watch not over priced
Once you go through the first round of settings it’s easy to use. Very accurate.

  • Works well for me--
This is a replacement for an earlier Garmin golf watch. It is very accurate, has amazing battery life. Its menu is more complex than my previous model, so I am still getting used to moving between the settings.

  • Fits the Bill
I bought this to replace a Garmin S60 that would not hold a charge. The battery cannot be replaced. Planned obsolescence, I am sure. Anyway, I never used all the features of the S60. All I want is a solid golf GPS watch, and this is it. I have played 2 rounds without recharging and the battery is still at about 75%. Much lighter and thinner than the S60. Very accurate when compared to friend’s GPS devices and range finder lasers. This is a winner. Incidentally, I bought a glass screen protector and rubber plugs for the charging port for a couple bucks. They came in a combo pack. I set the numbers to the larger format and they are super easy to see at a glance. The face is easy to read in bright sunlight. I really like this so far. I will update if needed. ... show more

  • Golf GPS Watch, no BS.
I'm 67 years old. I want a simple, reliable, accurate, look down and read the yards in big numbers, on a sunny day. I previously owned a S10 which did the same thing but the S12 does a bit more. I can add the CT10 sensors to the S12. I can pair it to my phone to look at stats afterwards. I can look at where the traps and water hazards are by a quick push of a button. It pairs quickly to the outerspace GPS machine floating around the earth. A black and white number screen, not color. I dont need color - I know what color the green is. I also like the price. I tried the S62 and didnt have the patience to remember what buttons to push to see info. All I need to know is how far the hole is and how far a hazard is. The S12 does it. ... show more

  • Great watch at a good price!
I really like this watch, does the basics really well and keeps some really handy stats too. Battery life is amazing - runs for six or seven rounds of golf. Best thing is it just gives you an accurate shot yardage eiyout breaking the bank. Recommend looking at this one for sure.

  • Great Golf Watch
This is a very useful watch. It is easy to use. It doesn't have a lot of features that I would never use.

  • Good to how much farther to go
I'm comparing this model to the older Approach S1 that I had. The first thing I noticed was how much lighter the S12 was. Both models give front, middle, back distances to the green. The S12 wil also give distances to hazards. The S12 shows the green and skies you to move the flag. I have not tried the functionality (I'm happy to hit the green somewhere!). Both models allow you measure your shot. The S12 battery lasts longer,, but then again the S1 is much older. The S12 allows you to keep score on the watch. I'm still learning how to use that effectively. Not as intuitive as I would have thought. Back to the manual! The minus star is for the functionality that the S1 had, but had been removed from the S12, and that is the odometer. I usually walked the course, and it was interesting to see how far I actually walked. Overall, I am glad that I upgraded. ... show more
