I'm not sure why the replacement transducer is more than half the cost of a new unit! I installed the original transducer on my trolling motor and needed another to use as a portable unit. I almost took the entire unit back when I saw the price on the transducer! It works, and I really like the unit. That's the only reason this was even ordered. ... show more
