I opted for this style of garlic press thinking it might be easier to clean and straight-forward to use. It takes a fair bit of muscle power to cut through the garlic with it, and I find that I have to scrape, press, and roll multiple times to get through the clove of garlic. It ends up taking me longer to do it with this tool than if I had just minced the cloves by hand. I will say a benefit of it is that this crushes the garlic as it's cutting. I'm not a pro cook or anything but maybe that releases more of the flavor than simply cutting. Regardless, if I were to buy another garlic press I wouldn't go for this style again. ... show more

Very Ergonomic structure and wide handle. Crushes easily, but the end of the garlic remains, so you still have some chopping or you can toss. Other wise easy to clean and easy to use.

Easy to handle. Maybe my garlic cloves were a bit damp, but some were flattened on the bottom covering the shredding/chopping wholes after use.

This garlic rocker doesn’t seem to work very easily and leaves the outside of the clove not pressed through. It doesn’t seem to pass ginger through at all. Maybe that’s just how they work, but it’s wasteful.

We saw this FB ad and figured amazon would have it. Sure enough we ordered it here and got it fast. Eager to use it and but we weren’t impressed. We are Not recommending it to friends and family. It’s Hard to clean and pretty annoying to be honest.
