Wow, I truly have to say I'm impressed on how sturdy this item is. The functionality of this item is great. A great fit on my disabled hands with a mini meat tenderizor on one end. Makes grating garlic easy.

The mincer is more of a musher. I could have stuck with my old Pampered Chef garlic press, which is a lot easier to clean as well. The outer metal surface is flat. There is no edge that would actually cut the garlic clove. Instead you have to press down quite a bit, and rock back and forth repeatedly to squeeze the max out of your clove. Otherwise, you end up with a flat piece of garlic on one end, and a few minced pieces on the other. Cleaning is also not as easy as advertised. I needed a dish brush, and even then it took a while to get most of the holes clean.
