After the rain and some wind in Southern Nevada, I came home to this. I bought this canopy back in March and set it up in May. I noticed a couple of tears in the tarp last week after a lot of wind in the past couple of months. I drilled the frame into the ground and seems to hold up well, but I wouldn’t recommend if you deal with a lot of wind. The galvanized steel is hollow and the canopy acts like a parachute in it. I’m thinking of doing my research on what tarp would work best and last longer than a few months. I do like this canopy and it’s kept things cooler, but based on my short experience, I might need to do some more research on a solution where this won’t happen again. *****UPDATE***** The seller reached out and sent a new tarp, due to it being under warranty. I appreciated it so much due to me not even asking. They were very professional with the customer service and I received the tarp quicker than I thought. Now the rating goes up. ... show more

I was surprised at the sturdiness of this product! The only problem we had was that it was missing a few spring clips in the poles. The box came taped together as though it had been open. I called the company and never got a response so we just screwed it together. Otherwise, it is a great product.

It's reduced the temperature under the cover of the carport by at least 10 degrees. We love having protection from the elements while getting into our vehicle. We did go to Home Depot to get slightly stronger stakes to secure the poles into the ground. We could have used the ones it came with, but decided to go with metal vs. plastic stakes. ... show more

It takes several people to put this together and move it. The frame is the most durable we have ever had. The tarp that comes with it did not even last a year. It fell apart, I guess it was not made for the Florida sun. We took it down and kept the frame which it did not show any wear at all.
