Update on review! Iv been using this monitor for a month now… I do love the monitor it has a great battery, great range and the picture is super clear. It has become SOOO glitchy. The thing freezes constantly , will go black randomly and just shut off. This is sooooo annoying and unfortunate because it is a great camera. Other thing I wish it had indicator lights for sound so I don’t have to have the volume up all of the time. So this will be my third monitor. Vtech has a terrible battery life… like 2 hour tops… only lasts for one nap and the range was awful too. Would disconnect constantly as well. Next up…baby sense… the WORST monitor. Blurry, so loud even on the lowest setting and extremely bright at night…cheap buttons, bad temp Gaidge. I was nervous for this one and was prepared to return but wow it’s an amazing camera. Iv only had it for a week but the battery seems solid. It’s off the charger from 7am-9pm and gets down to 35%. The picture is extremely clear. I was shocked at how crisp it is even at night. Nice large screen as well. I have a camera for my 2.5 year old and my 5 month old… the “patrol” setting goes back and forth between the two rooms with sound on every 10 seconds or so and this has been really great over night allowing me to hear both rooms at all times basically. Also the camera does not pick up any ambient sounds. I had to listen to my kids sound machine all night long with the other monitors but this one you can’t hear anything except if kid cries. Can’t speak to range too much but it works all through out my house. The only thing I would say that is unfortunate about the camera is that there are several options you can toggle on or off but the instructions don’t have any description of what they do so I’m not really sure what is what. ... show more

I absolutely love this baby monitor. I bought it for the long range and it is true to that. It has amazing video quality, all the settings like motion detection and sound detection can be adjusted. It has very slight delay. It is better than any other baby monitor I have ever owned honestly. Even my expensive WiFi cameras don’t compare to this camera. I feel safe and secure knowing my kids are being monitored safely and effectively. I will absolutely be recommending this to all of my parent friends. ... show more

Nice look and good function as far as mostly easy to figure out how to operate. Directions say there is a cover film on new parent unit screen on delivery that you can choose to leave or take off. Ours kept falling off. Then, the screen itself fell out too. Will be requesting replacement and see how that goes. Haven’t opened added camera yet. Features are basic..no zoom but not really needed for monitoring of elderly mom with dementia. Allows us to monitor her movements while we move about the house. Sound and motion sensor is very sensitive..alerts on every toe movement but for the price it works for us

The media could not be loaded. I am a full time caregiver for my Mother this monitor helps me sleep with confidence that if my Mother needs something I will be alerted. I’m actually sleeping in a bed rather than the couch!!!

First unit writhed for about a week, then the parent unit wouldn't turn on. Got a replacement from Amazon. Worked for about two days. Then it randomly unpaired from 3 cameras and wouldn't reconnect.
