Looks just as pictured except the color is slightly greenish but still looks like concrete which is what I wanted. Works great right out of the box. I have it on the lowest pump setting, and it bubbles perfectly, creating a soothing sound. Easy to maneuver where you want it placed. Pump doesn't stay suctioned to bottom, but as long as it's submerged under water, it will be fine. The hole cover in the back is easy to turn and remove, and the knockout area is perfect for the cords to come out of and still keep the cover in place.

Perfect for my front yard! It does get clogged pretty frequently but it’s easy to put together and the water flow is a nice gurgle. I’ve had birds, bees, and butterflies stop by for a drink and even a few raccoons!

I’m really disappointed with this fountain. My husband was so excited to have one that could also serve as a bird bath. Sadly, it stopped working within just a few days. On the first day, it worked beautifully. The second day, it only ran for 2–4 hours before shutting off, even though the solar panel was in full sunlight. By the third day, it wouldn’t turn on at all — again, despite placing the panel in direct sun and waiting until the end of the day to test it. It’s incredibly frustrating and just not worth the price or the hassle. What broke my heart the most was seeing how disappointed my husband was — he was really looking forward to this. Unfortunately, this just didn’t live up to our expectations.

The fountain is attractive and quality made. Problem for me was my entryway plug could not accommodate the two plugs because one is the transformer type. The company offered me money back for an extension cord but I didn’t want extension cord in my entryway. Ultimately after four requests for a return shipping label the company refunded the fountain cost and told me not to return it, which I was very willing to do once I got that shipping label. You need two separate plugs to run this or an extension cord. The post did not clarify that.

This fountain is very, very easy to set up. Because it's fairly light weight, an older person (76) like myself, can easily manage the whole process. There are two very small suction cups on the transformer that do not stay in place, they should be larger, but it doesn't lessen the functionality at all. Also, the flow is controlled by a tiny switch that moves from left to right, not by turning it as the instruction indicates. The assembly instructions are in a very tiny font, not sure why because all other care instructions are much larger and are easy to read. The fountain looks like real plaster or concrete. Beautiful! I added a few birds for extra beauty.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very satisfying and relaxing fountain that has a pleasant gurgle sound. Very easy to assemble. The instructions for the solar panel battery pack and on/off switch do not match the battery pack shown in the directions, but we figured it out quickly. If you turn off the solar panel a few hours in daylight, it stores power so you can run it at night. The LED lights up at night as well. We're enjoying this so much!

I purchased this to place along the edge of a deck at a little cottage we have in the woods on our property. It's very cute and has a nice babbling brook sound. I wanted to love it. The unit I received has a round approx 5" diameter hole on the side of the unit that serves two functions: 1- it's how you fill the unit with water (the pump sits at the bottom of the unit in the water and then its power cord needs to exit out of the hole, and 2- the electrical cord for the transformer (for the light) has to be kept above the water level and exit the unit from the hole. As a result of this design, both the pump and light must be plugged into an outlet (or extension cord plug, in my case) outside of the unit, which seems quite different than some of the other reviews. In some of the reviews this hole was shown to be at the bottom of the unit and there appeared to be a cavity within the unit where one could plug in both the transformer and the pump into an extension cord and then you would have justs the cord exit the unit so that the plug was protected inside the cavity. I like that feature. The manual even describes some kind of add-on housing that would serve the same purpose as an internal dry cavity. The assembly instructions for my unit did not match the unit (even though the picture on the brochure did). It seems there may be different versions of this fountain. Is the larger unit designed with the hole at the bottom? I don't know, the description doesn't say. One minor issue with the unit I received is that the cover for the hole was destroyed leaving me to wonder if this unit had been returned by a purchaser who had tried to accommodate the cords by modifying it. Depending upon your needs, this could be a nice little water feature for the money.
