You need some tools to deal with edging in the yard and around sidewalks to make it safe. Native plants have a higher chance of flourishing if you move those to a spot, not in a traffic zone. Needed to check the soil there for hidden objects and begin developing it for clover planting. The garden tools, one spade, one measured narrow trowel, and a rake fit well in hand, which gives control for the movement of soil. It allowed me to do a horizontal move to remove an inch or two of soil near the sidewalk. Found what was hidden there and rectified it a bit. The rake handled a rough area around a gutter outlet that did not extend to the ground but pounded the soil with water when it rained. It quickly removed rocks and debris and unpacked the soil. The scale measure on the trowel is valuable. The wide tines on the rake make quick work of larger debris. Had to be careful with the spade because it can dig a few inches quickly and not bend or break. A pleasure to use and now says a lifetime warranty. Accomplished the goal for that area of the yard. The original ad showed a visual of a bag the tools were in, but when it was posted after selection, the description only had the tools listed and a similar ad link without the bag, so may be more than one set available from the company.

Have gone through quite a few of them over the years. Some are not well made and break while others I may have left buried somewhere in the yard. Was time for a new set. These are aluminum and have weight to them. The handles are no slip and comfortable. One of the spades in narrower than the other and is etched with ruler to measure depth. Put these right to use in the garden. Expect will get years of use from them unless I somehow misplace them. Recommend to any and all gardeners looking for a quality set of hand tools.

These are a good value for the price as it comes with three garden tools. They have comfortable handles and the tools feel strong enough for dirt that isn't too thick (not sure how they would handle clay dirt).

The original listing for this was not a three-piece set. It was a full set that came with a bag. I was very disappointed whenever I received only three pieces. I would be cautious when ordering.

We got the three-piece set which includes the handheld trowel, hand rake, and hand transplanting spade. They are aluminum and are lightweight and easy to clean and maintain. The handles are comfortable to hold and use. The transplanting spade has a ruler etched into the blade. It turns out to be very handy for checking depth and other uses. We like this set, the pieces are nice for our container gardening, and they are a good value at $9.99.

This is a nice set of three garden tools. The listing confused me and I thought it would come with a garden bag as well to hold the tools, but this is just three loose tools. Not a deal breaker for me, but I am sure it would be for some. The tools are nice, lightweight, yet solid, and I've been using them steadily since arrival. I think they will last several grow seasons. Unless I lose them, since there's no bag to keep them in.

The grips are very ergonomic. They feel of decent material. The construction isn’t the sturdiest quality and they aren’t balanced, but they get the job done cheaply and effectively. They will work just fine under light-duty soil conditions.
