  • Perfect Hand Rake
This little hand rake is perfect for working in the flower bed. Perfect size and seems sturdy so far. The handle is easy to grip and fits my hand nicely.

  • Simple, but good
Not much you can say about a yard tool, but you can feel the quality of this one immediately. Used it for a few minutes and it has a very good feel. The handle is a bit different in that it seems to fit my hand better than any small yard tool I have had in the past.

  • Helpful for container gardening
This tool is helpful to ripping out old roots from prior season plants that need to be removed. It's fairly sturdy, but with some of my tougher roots I worry a little about bending the tines sine they are flat, but thus far it's held up okay. It is comfortable in my hand, but I don't think I'd like this for a large in ground garden as the angle of the tines is pretty steep. That said, I only have container gardens so it works pretty well for me! ... show more

  • This is a light tool, with a long, comfortable handle.
The long handle will save having to bend over so far to work in your garden and flowerbeds. The end is rubber coated which gives a good grip and prevents blisters.

  • essential tool
I have a lot of raised garden beds that this is going to be great for, Just smaller jobs where a standard rake might be a little much. I have already used it this winter breaking up some potting soil that was partially frozen in my garage. I wanted to start getting things ready for starting seeds indoors and this little rake tool helped break up the soil nicely. Very sturdy, comfortable grippy handle and the tines are solid metal. Won't bend or deform out of shape even with your toughest jobs! ... show more

  • Sturdy rake and easy to hold
This handheld rack is easy to use and it does a great job of loosening the soil and removing weeds. It's also very sturdy and durable, so I don't have to worry about it breaking or bending. The handle is comfortable and ergonomic, and the rake head is just the right size for my garden beds.

  • Angle of Rake Too Pronounced
Pros - Mostly metal construction. The key parts are made from metal, which makes it a durable rake that should last long. The tines are appropriately sized too. - Comfortable rubber/plastic grip makes using it have a comfortable grip. However, see the one con in terms of use with regards to angle of the rake described in detail below. Comfort here refers only to the grip. Cons - The angle of the rake is too pronounced. It should not be 90 degrees to the shaft. It should be more like 60 degrees. Having the rake at 90 degrees to the shaft makes digging soil and moving soil a rather unnatural task as the angle is not what one would be comfortable with. I took a look at my old rake and noticed that the bend of the tines compared to the shaft is not at 90 degrees. It is less than 90 degrees. Somewhere between 45 degrees and 90 degrees. This one negative is the reason I gave it four stars instead of five. ... show more

  • Nice garden rake tool, solid and durable.
This little garden rake is definitely worth the price. It is lightweight and easy to hold, but feels really sturdy and solid. The tines feel very strong, and there isn’t any give when you are digging in the dirt. This will work really well in some smaller gardens areas that I need to dig up soil with rocks later this spring. ... show more
