  • Horrible product contains chemicals
Flavor Name: Chocolate
I would never buy this product again Consumer Report found the product to have chemicals the company did not respond to the evidence of consumer report which is the government agency anyone can look up the findings of this report under protein powders Consumer Report

  • Toxic chemicals found in this “organic” whey
Flavor Name: Chocolate
After seeing other comments about this “organic” whey having toxic chemicals, I looked it up myself and it’s true. Go to google and type in garden of life organic whey consumer report and click on consumer report.com. Lead, arsenic, BPA... you name it, it’s in there. Disgusting to me that a company can advertise as organic like this and get away with it. ... show more

  • Excellent quality horrible price/size
Flavor Name: Vanilla
I was looking for a good quality whey protein concentrate.. without added chemicals or artificial stuff.. when I found this product I enjoyed the vanilla taste very much. It's sweet enough but not overly sweet if you're like me and mostly avoid sugar as a lifestyle. It blends very easily, quickly and does not leave clumps or residue. My only issue is that at $28 for 13oz it just not realistic for a lot of people. And it's annoying needing to order a container every 9 days.. and that's taking the recommended dosage, some people prefer a little more. I ended up finding Levels protein here on amazon and picked up a 5lb container for under $60 and its quality/taste/everything is comparable to this one. This Garden of Life product comes out to cost about $30 per pound and now Levels is costing me about $11 per pound! And I don't have to order all the time! I would have stuck with this company but I just can't stay loyal to the hefty price and lack of larger sizing options. My new option features the same type of quality testing from a third party company and also has similar levels of bcaas. Not trying to sound like an advertisement but there are other options out there! ... show more

  • No stevia!!!! Yay!!!! Great taste and mixes well!
Flavor Name: Lightly Sweet
I’m allergic to stevia—this is not uncommon as anyone with a ragweed allergy has a high risk of being allergic to stevia, too. It’s so hard to find non-stevia protein powder. I love that this has just a little sweetness but also doesn’t have a specific flavor, so I can add it to anything and it works. It mixes great— even though I lost the shaker part of my shaker bottle, it wasn’t grainy or clumpy. I added a tablespoon of plain unsweetened cocoa powder and it worked great to make a chocolate flavor (I used milk in that one). I’d love for there to be less sugar in it, like 8 grams instead of 11, so instead of using two scoops I use one. Overall I’m really happy I found this. Glad to have a portable post-workout option other than peanut butter. ... show more

  • BEST Source of Protein!!!
Flavor Name: Chocolate
I feel the one-star reviews are unfair since most talk about the taste. We all have different taste buds and I for one LOVE the taste of this shake. Going beyond taste this is by far much better than another leading brand shake which has 8 grams of sugar where this only has 2 grams. Other positive comparisons are 21 grams of protein compared with only 15 grams, total carbs are only 7 grams compared with 15 grams plus this one has 2 Billion CFU Probiotics where the other one only has 1 Billion. It beats out another name brand shake mix for healthier living. I was so happy to find this here on Amazon for $2.00 less than my local vitamin shop. ... show more

  • Great stuff just a bit too much sugar.
Flavor Name: Lightly Sweet
So happy to try a stevia free product. Plants make poisons to protect themselves sometimes and given our governments "rule by blackmailable teason" system them approving something that tastes exactly like artificial sweetners is suspect. The powder does not mix perfectly but even the lumps were yummy, my only real complaint is it is a bit too much sugar. If they used half the sugar or just let us decide at home what to add at home and left it unsweatened that would be perfect. ... show more

  • Couldn't Ask For Better
Flavor Name: Chocolate
This is everything you could want in a whey powder. It's certified organic from grass fed cows. Jersey cows no less, which are known for producing outstanding milk. I trust the advertisement that the cows are out on pasture at least 300 days a year. That's important, because 'grass-fed' as a marketing claim is not regulated by the USDA, so you have to dig deeper to find out. This whey is also a concentrate, which some people may not prefer, but it preserves all the natural nutritive compounds (in their natural ratios) which heavier processing to create isolates can destroy. The chocolate is certified fair trade, as well as raw (this is the difference between cocoa and cacao, which has additional health benefits over cocoa). And the product is even humane certified! There are also no added sugars, and the addition of bifido-lactis assists with digestion, which is a very thoughtful addition that makes this whey stand out. I disagree with reviews that identify erythritol with producing excessive gas and bloating. Although it's certainly possible one could be sensitive to erythritol, it's much more likely that gas and bloating came from introducing a new strain of probiotic into the gut. I think this would be especially true for someone who has a poor gut microbiome. Also, whey is known to cause gas and bloating itself, partly since it is so easily assimilated by the body. Hence the bifido-lactis. This product did make me gassy for several days, but then my body adapted and it doesn't cause me any issues. ... show more

  • Immediately threw this away
Flavor Name: Chocolate Peanut Butter
I bought the chocolate and peanut butter flavor. With so many people saying how good it tasted, I wanted to try it as a decent meal replacement shake (since I have the tendency to skip meals when I'm busy). But after one sip, I had to immediately toss it. It didn't taste anything like chocolate, but seemed like some weird combination of coffee and peanut butter that was just... not good. ... show more
