I’d say this will likely get more use as a kneeler than a bench. The handles will be useful for standing back up, and for pulling weeds or using in the greenhouse, it’s nice to have a handhold. That being said, this was a bit tricky to assemble, even though it only has a few pieces — the handles were very tight and had to really be forced into the rest of the unit. The instructions say a hammer is required. I’d recommend a rubber mallet and a second pair of hands. Once it is fit together, though, it is unlikely to come apart again! It’s much easier to reverse the cushion. The Velcro is not too difficult to adjust or unfasten, which will make cleaning it much easier. The tool bag only fits when it is used as a bench to sit on; as a kneeler, it does not fit. It is just a tool bag and is fairly unhelpful as it can only be draped over the edge and doesn’t really work the way it is shown in photos.

A serious and stout assistant for your yard and garden work. This is the epitome of "You get what you pay for"! This is qn outstanding, or is it out kneeling?, multifunction stool/bench/knee saver. Attractive too! This looks like something you might find in the high priced garden/hardware store. And has the sturdiness to match! This is practically fully assembled. No tools are provided. Tapping in the two handles into the 4 holes is a snap. (Handles when a stool, legs when it is upside down and used as a kneeling pad.) You can use a rubber mallet to fully seat the two pins on each in place. If you don’t have one, you can wrap a block of wood with a towel and use a hammer to fully seat the pins. That is all there is to it. My Best Use #1. When the ground is damp and you need to work on your seat, or on your knees. My knees are constantly getting wet from kneeling on the ground. (And get dirty.) which is also uncomfortable in colder weather. That’s not happening with this Titiuncle! Your knees, or seat, will be clean and dry, above the wet. My Best Use #2. If you have a shoulder injury like even a slightly torn rotator cuff, as I did. It’s very hard to get up from the ground with nothing around to pull up with. And it is very clumsy, awkward and challenging when the ground is damp. Carry this stool with you and this bench provides that aid to rise up. And to carry? It’s only about 7.5 lbs. The “saddle bag” for your tools, slides on and goes right along with you, from garden spot to garden spot. Need to replace a washer on a hose bib on the ground? This will get you up close and personal, with padding for your knees. And the saddle bag can hold your pliers, wrench and washer box. They also throw in a separate, serious sized tote bag with pockets. Say goodbye to your wet, dirty knees. Say goodbye to that awful rolling over to get down on “all fours” to get up from the ground. You got style and grace here. (And clean & dry knees) Finally, perhaps there is a spot in a tree or bush that is just out of reach, you might just reach it with this bench. And those slide out feet can make this even more stable. See my photo with red arrows added to the one page manual. I initially missed this feature, it is so well built in. It’s a very easy to carry. It folds flat so it can stand or hang at the ready by your door to pick up on your way out. One of the best deserved 5 star Vine ratings of this year. I want to start off this review by saying that this arrived in pristine condition. Any scuffs or dirt you may see in my review photos is because I've been using it daily for the last 2 weeks. I think this kneeler is fantastic. I initially thought that this was a seat that could be adjusted/ lowered to become a kneeler. Actually, this product is a seat that, once you turn the whole thing upside down, you kneel on the underside of the seat. I think this is way better because this makes this product extremely sturdy. It has a removable seat cushion that you can switch between one and the other. The cushion is attached via Velcro straps which are easy to adjust. The cushion also has a removable cover for washing. I find the seat comfortable enough not to use the cushion, so I leave mine on the kneeler part. The "handles" beside the seat become the feet on the kneeler and visa versa. I like this, especially when used as a kneeler as I can use them to help myself up. It does fold up, by squeezing the sides on springs, but if you have the seat cushion on the underside this will need to be removed first. It comes with a tool bag, which is quite large, and a pocket hold all that you just slip on over the handles and fits whichever way you use it. This pocket should be taken off when switching from seat to kneeler or visa versa, or your stuff will end up on the floor, as I found out! It has extender legs that you push a pin in the side to release and it locks them in place when extended. I haven't needed to use the extender legs yet, but I've only been using it in my grow station in the basement. I got this because I needed a kneeler for the garden and also wanted a stool that I could use in my grow area that I wouldn't mind getting dirty. This seemed to fit the bill for both so I decided it would do. I am glad I did, this is brilliant! I am extremely happy with this, and would definitely recommend.
