I really bought these because of how ridiculous they seemed. They have at least gotten laughs from my son and a few other people. I haven't tried using them yet. The plastic seems like it would be fairly durable unless you were digging through soil with lots of rocks. In that case, you would wear away the plastic but it would take a while. As for the utility of these gloves... I'm not sure. It seems like maybe just using a planting shovel would be better. I'm giving them four stars because although they don't seem to be that useful as compared to traditional gardening tools, they appear to at least be well made. Maybe some day I'll have the time to make a ridiculous video of me using them and post it here.
