Works As Described
Item Package Quantity: 1
Color: Silver
Worked as designed and slides well with a good locking position spring action. Had to build up the area with a 1 inch board to make it flush with the garage roll up door and to line up with slots already in the side of the garage door panel. Seems sturdy enough and install was easy. I used longer construction screws in 4 holes to get a deeper grab into the studs and used the bolts it came with as well so a combination of both makes it a more secure and likely permanent fixture.

Sturdy and comes with bolts
Item Package Quantity: 1
Color: Silver
I wish the bolts came with some washers as spacers; I purchased some from Wal-mart. The latch is well made and has a solid open/closed position. It's not difficult to use. It has a variety of mounting holes.

Strong Thick Garage Latch
Item Package Quantity: 1
Color: Silver
The latch is exactly as described. It is heavy duty. The supplied metal screws are also good quality and sized appropriately for the latch. I didn't use all the screws provided. I only needed 4 of them. You may need to predrill depending on the thickness of your door even though the screws provided are self tapping.

Lock is ok. No screws enclosed.
Item Package Quantity: 1
Color: Silver
The lock mechanism is sturdy, functions as expected and will do the job. Neither of two new boxes came with any screws. I had to go out to our local hardware store and purchase screws as an added expense. To add to the negative, there is no mention of screw size recommendation in the instruction sheet. Of course this is relative to the surface for installation. Screws with the lock would be recommended even if the user elected to try other screws. Seems like a cost-saving measure that puts burden on the buyer.
