  • Does the job
Size: 2 Pack
I had to replace a bulb I put into my garage door opener because it appeared to be sending a signal that acted like the unit would not connect to the internet... I'd restart my phone and all would be normal for a day or two and then it was the same thing. I was told I needed to try to get a bulb specifically designed for garage door openers and so far, after a week, I've had no issue so I'm a happy camper. I am trusting this will be the answer for the long haul. ... show more

  • Great fit!
Size: 2 Pack
Nice bulbs, just wish they were brighter. For this reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars

  • Helps with interference I was having with other standard bulbs.
Size: 2 Pack
It's a great light bulb and provides a decent amount of light for my garage. I wish it was brighter but it's still does the job.

  • These allow the garage door remotes to work just fine!
Back in the day when LED light bulbs were first coming out, they were substantially more expensive than the equivalent-brightness incandescent bulbs they replaced, but we were basically forced to switch to LED by rules outlawing incandescent bulbs. Unfortunately, the new LED bulbs prevented our garage door openers from working properly. We were told that the garage door openers all had problems with the RF noise generated by the little power converters in the base of LED bulbs, so we had to use incandescent bulbs in our openers. We had a small stockpile of the old 60W bulbs, which we kept for that use, while switching to LEDs everywhere else. It appears that LED technology, in addition to getting a LOT less expensive, more, reliable, and available in higher brightness, has also improved in other ways. This item appears to have some extra filtering and/or shielding in the square-wave power converters used to drop the 110 VAC to the 5 to 7 VDC used by LEDs. That means that these bulbs allow normal operation of our remote openers. Not only that, but these LED bulbs are substantially brighter than the last of the 60W incandescent bulbs that we replaced with this 100 W equivalent (as they should be). One of our vehicle remotes seemed to have some problems, but I think that one was always a bit problematic, and it's a ten-year-old car. The remote in our second vehicle worked fine. Also these bulbs require no special treatment. Since I suspect the problems we saw were with the remote, and not the bulb, I would still rate this item 5 stars. ... show more

  • Brighter Light without Exceeding Fixture Wattage Rating
My incandescent garage door lights had been getting dimmer, so before they burned out completely, I decided to replace them. Loxyee provides LED bulbs designed for this purpose. They work despite the repeated vibration they receive from the door opening and closing, and they’re immune to radio frequency interference from the garage door electronics. Also, from my experience with other LED bulbs in my house, I knew that these bulbs would use less power and provide more light. Two bulbs came loosely packed in the LOXYEE box. When considering making this LED upgrade to my garage door lights, I was concerned that replacing a 60-watt bulb with a 100-watt equivalent might draw too much power from the 60-watt rated light socket. Researching the matter online, however, led me to realize that the LOXYEE bulbs only draw 15 watts of power rather than the incandescent bulb’s 60-watt power draw, despite producing more light. The 100-watt rating of these LED bulbs is an equivalent rating that indicates the amount of light they produce rather than their power need. Originally, I planned on only replacing the bulb in my two-car garage, but since two bulbs came in the box, I also changed the light in my golf cart garage. It’s an unimportant dark spot, but the space is now lit up brightly, making it more likely that I’ll use it. ... show more

  • They're bulbs. They light up.
Size: 2 Pack
I dinged 1 star bc they were packed two to a box with no separator to protect from breakage.

  • Solved my interference issues!
I honestly wasn’t expecting to care much about garage light bulbs, but these surprised me in a good way. I bought this 2-pack specifically because they were marketed as minimizing interference with garage door openers—and they absolutely deliver on that. I had been using regular LED bulbs in my garage, and I’d noticed my garage door opener was getting finicky. Sometimes the remote wouldn’t work unless I was practically on top of the door. I thought it was the opener going bad, but a friend mentioned that some LED bulbs can interfere with the signal. I swapped those out with these, and immediately the difference was noticeable. No more remote issues. The opener responds quickly, even from halfway down the driveway. The brightness is also spot-on. These are rated as 100W equivalents, and they do a great job lighting up the entire garage. The daylight white (5000K) is crisp and clear, which is exactly what I like—makes the space feel cleaner and more functional. Installation was as simple as screwing in a light bulb (literally), and so far, they've been totally reliable. I also appreciate that they’re non-dimmable—it’s a basic need in the garage, and I don’t want the added hassle of flickering or compatibility issues. Overall, this was a small but meaningful upgrade. If you’ve been struggling with your garage door opener and haven’t thought about the bulbs being the culprit, give these a try. It’s a simple fix that actually works. ... show more

  • Bright and lightweight. Not sure if it's rough duty or not.
The photo is comparing this light bulb to the standard 60W rough duty bulb I took out of my garage door opener. The new bulb is slightly larger, as would be expected from a 100W equivalent bulb. It's much brighter, and I prefer the higher frequency light of the new bulb, but I have no idea if it'll handle being vibrated by the garage door opener. The rough duty bulb is a standard glass incandescent with a plastic-ish rough coating on it, and I'm guessing the filament is tougher to withstand rough duty. The new LED bulb is just like any other LED bulb, but feels a bit lighter than other bulbs I have. No indication it's different other than "Garage Bulb" printed on it. Bottom line is that so far, it works great, saves energy, and is way brighter than the bulb it's replacing, so I'm happy :) ... show more
