    • Controller is OK but the fan stopped working
This is a pretty good device and I've enjoyed using it. However, one of the main reasons I bought it was for the fan on the back. Now 11 months later the fan no longer works when plugged in. The rgb lights still come on but not the fan. All I hear is the wine of the motor as if it's seized up an just won't spin. I also can't use the controller when charging through the controller charging port. It will charge the phone but then it somehow loses the connection to the phone. There may be a usb setting somewhere that solves that problem but I haven't figured it out yet. So with no fan and not being able to charge my phone while playing, which you're supposed to be able to do with this controller, I'm really disappointed. Update 11/13/23: After writing this review I have discovered that using a different usb cord makes the fan turn on. I was originally using a micro usb cord with a usb-c adapter on it and, while it would charge my phone just fine, it wouldn't make the fan on the controller turn on for some reason. Switching to a full usb-c cord seems to work though so I'm changing my review to 5 stars. The fan does an excellent job of keeping my phone cooler. ... show more

its amazing. used it for about a week every night. heres my quick rundown: -made well. fells pretty sturdy, smells good lol. -zero input lag thanks to tethered plug in (usb c) -cooling fan makes a HUGE difference, i can physically feel it is way hotter without it on. it is only barely warm when the fan is on, and sometimes cold. you can slide it to avoid your camera. the plate really does get ice cold and i can feel the heat leaving the heatsink vents. fan is also very very quiet, the rgb is a neat touch too. i noticed when its plugged in with no device, all 4 led's cycle the same colors, but once plugged in, they will cycle 4 different colors. cool. Its a must have (when used right, ill get to that) -comes with a hard mesh covered case with a tiny bit of flex to it -comes with spare different magnetic circle buttons, different dpad, concave and convex analog sticks, and lower and raised analog stick adapters -it charges my galaxy s22 with the port in the controller the downsides: -the cooling plate will never sit flush with the back of the device (galaxy s22 in my case,) even if its off the camera. this is because the usb c plug sits too far away from the plate, leaving the phone uneven, sitting further back at the top, and more forward out towards the charging port. it may be for thicker phones i guess. however, it still functions very very well. -the l2 and r2 triggers are buttons. its on or off, with no axis input. -the shape doesnt suit big hands or even medium very well. it would be great if it was a bit wider. this is my first and hopefully last phone game controller, im very happy with it, i got it on an $82 sale, so im very satisfied with the purchase. despite the downsides, the fact that its a 2-in-1 controller and cooler is a must for newer devices that get hot. i got an s22 for $130 on ebay because there were 2 unnoticeable cracks in 2 corners lol. anyway i love this thing. best controller imo. ... show more

I really had problems with this controller. Phone I am using this controller with is the Samsung Galaxy note 20 ultra. I have used both the Razor kishi 1 and I am currently using the Razor kishi 2. I'm looking to replace the kishi v2. Soon as I connect the controller my phone didn't fit. I had a small loop on the back of my phone and I thought that was the problem so I removed it. It fit better but not perfectly. The camera bump on the note 20 made it hard to fit perfectly in the controller. The controller is heavy it felt like twice the weight of the kishi. But that's because of the cooling features if cooling is important to you i think this is the controller even with all of its issues. Joystick kept drifting to the right fixed it by disconnecting and reconnecting the controller but the issue did reoccur multiple times. Let's talk about the gamesir app. Let's start with the most frustrating thing. Everytime I launch it I have to wait 3 sec. It feels very much like an ad but it's just the gamesir logo. Most of the time the app didn't detect my controller. The app felt like it's not done. Different parts wouldn't work at different times. The help tab never worked. The customization feels great! Being able to change the joysticks is great! The changing of the buttons I didn't find that useful but it's great to have the option. The joystick feels a lot like a Xbox controller which I think most people do like but I personally prefer the Nintendo switch joystick. Like I said before if you need cooling for your device while playing I don't see any other good option on the market right now. I hate LED on random things like this but it seems the gaming community loves it so I listed it as a positive. I will not be using this controller I will be going back to the razor kishi V2. I'm still on the lookout for a better controller cause the razor kishi has it's own problems. ... show more
