This came on time as advertised. I mounted it that day on a tikka t3 compact .308. This mount is very solid and easy to install. I went through my normal scope mounting ritual which takes me a lot of patience because I spend the time to make sure the scope is perfectly level...and mounted my zeiss 4-5-14X50 back onto the rifle, replacing the tikka optilock mounts that came with it. Anyway, went to the range and after getting it on the paper at 25 yds, fired 2 3 shot groups at 100 yds. the first group was 3/4" low and 1/2" left. Five clicks later the second group was the bullseye. Both groups were 1/2" MOA. (1st time I've ever done that with this rifle)This is a very sturdy, solid mount and I feel confident that the scope is secure and will stay that way through the normal stresses it will be subjected to during hunts. ... show more

I'm using this 1" high for my ss tikka T3 lite and Zeiss 4-12x50 w/ flip up scope covers and it fits perfect. Quality made and looks great with my stainless/black combo rifle, looks like it came from the factory. Easily holding zero after a year and about a box of shells out of a .308. I purchased it for less than 40 bucks when I got it, but I will tell you that it's easily worth the 50 they are asking for it. Some of the prices of other scope rings and mounts are ridiculous out there these days, so for a quality USA made product this is really not a bad deal. Got a new tikka t3x light and this fit it perfect torque specs matched tikka recommended specs it was even honed in perfect I went to bed it and check it to find it was perfect out the box for sure I recommend this

I needed a higher than stock mount to make a leupold VX2 3-9X50 fit the Tikka, and after looking around found this, it works well for several reasons, it's light, it's sturdy and provides a perfect 3/16th's barrel clearance with the 50mm scope, and on the T3 it's a great looking transition from the sweet SS barrel to the matte black Leupold. my goal was to build a light weight weather tough elk gun and the grim reaper mount helped accomplish this. very pleased.RF ... show more

    • The Best Mount There Is!
I can't say how much I like this scope mount. Very light and the height is perfect. I have it on my Tikka T3 7mm mag with a Nikon 3x9x40 BDC Prostaff scope. Very easy to install and with 4 screws holding it down, it's very secure. I had originally bought the low mount, but the reticle was just barely sitting on the barrel. I had shimmed up the mount enough and found the high mount was perfect. I like this DNZ product so much I decided to keep the low mount for another Tikka. Here are the measurements. There is a 1/4" difference between the low and high mount. I could not find anything negative about this scope mount. Thanks DNZ for a great product at a great price.     • The fewer pieces, the better
Solid rail makes me feel confident that my rings are held in line with each other. Fixed spacing worked for my Minox 3-9x50 ZV3 scope, and allowed for about 1" of front to back adjustment along the scope tube. Mounted directly into the pre-tapped holes on the rail of my T3 (screws included). High mount was good for a Minox 50mm scope, but left a little too much (3/32") of space between the front bell and the barrel. I don't know if the Medium would have left enough space, so I'm satisfied. I added a comb adjustment pad from Beartoothproducts.com, and actually prefer the softer comb on my .30-06, so it worked well. Cons: there is a cut-out on one side of the rail that is apparently supposed to give your fingers more room around the chamber, but the front side is about 1/2" short of fitting exactly to my T3. If you google Game Reaper mount on Tikka T3, you can see this on several photos. Also, I've always preferred rings that have two screws on each side, it seems like the pressure when tightening would be more even, but thus far, I haven't had any problems with one screw on each side of each ring. Thus far, holds true for a .30-06 at the range. I would buy this mount again. ... show more
