I really like these, and I know that they were marketed as easy on/off shoes, but I didn't realize the elastic laces would make it difficult to tighten the shoes. I don't do well with loose fitting shoes. So I tighten them, tie a knot in the laces and weave them through the crossed laces. I can still kick them off when it's time to take them off, but they don't stay snug without re-tightening them each time. They're great for short distance, but if you want to walk a ways in them, then having them snug is important. IMHO I've only had them a few weeks, so can't share about durability. But they're super comfy and remind me of wearing wallabies as a teenager. ... show more
