Iām sitting here staring at the wall like I just got dropped back into reality after living inside this trilogy, completely wrecked in the best way. Iām equal parts delighted and devastated that itās over, which honestly feels like the highest compliment I can give. This book is the perfect collision of Lights Out and Caught Upādark, heavy, and emotionally loaded, but also sharp, hilarious, and wildly addictive. It balances tension and humor so effortlessly that I was either gripping my chest or laughing out loud, sometimes in the same chapter. I already loved Tyler from the previous books, but I was not prepared for this version of him. He is the perfect storm of grumpy, funny, and unapologetically sexy, and his character growth? Absolute peak. Watching him evolve throughout this story was one of the most satisfying arcs in the entire trilogy. And then thereās Stellaāchaotic, hilarious, and completely magnetic. She didnāt just match Tylerās energy, she challenged it, and the dynamic between them was electric from start to finish. The plot? I was locked in. Every twist, every reveal had me flipping pages like my life depended on it. I loved that nothing was handed to usāwe had to work for the answers, and it made every payoff hit that much harder. And AJ? Such a welcome surprise. Truly the cherry on top of an already incredible story. Also, Amos deserves his own moment because he was the cutest little scene-stealer and I would protect him at all costs š„¹ And the audiobook? Flawless. Absolutely flawless. James Cassidy and Tara Langella delivered a performance that didnāt just elevate the storyāit immersed me in it. The emotion, the pacing, the character distinctionā¦ it felt like I was listening to a full cast. I have officially added both of them to my automatic listen list. This book wasnāt just a finaleāit was an experience. One that left me completely satisfied, a little heartbroken, and already wishing I could read it again for the first time. Game On, by Navessa Allen, is the third book in the Into Darkness series. These are all interconnect standalone dark rom-com books. I have toughly enjoyed the entire series, and have listened to them all on audio, because the narrators do such a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. I have always been a sucker for the fake dating trope, so I was super excited that Game On had this. Tyler, Joshās old roommate from Lights Out is plotting his revenge on his father for ruining him and his momās life, but to do that, he needs to get close to Stella. He blackmails her into fake dating him so he can get into the right social circles to take down his dad. The banter and tension between the two is great from their first interaction. The plot is just as good; I really enjoyed the story line for this book. There are some deep topics that I think are handled very well. Another thing I like about this series is that each book has a pet, and this one is an African Grey parrot named Amos, he is great! I love that she chose an animal that can talk, it made for a really good time. If you like dark rom-comās I highly recommend the Into Darkness series by Navessa Allen.

I ABSOLUTELY loved this book! While I only liked Lights Out, really enjoyed Caught Up, Game On is by far my favorite and I loved it. I loved how complex Tyler's character is. I LOVED his character growth. He was an mmc I hated and grew to love. His relationship with Stella kept me completely engaged in the story. Stella is 10 years older than him and she's amazing. He black mails her and somehow they end up falling for each other. It was spontaneous, funny, hot and spicy. So enjoyable. Definitely worth the read. I loved the friendship group in this series and hope the side characters get books as well. I especially loved how pet friendly they all are. The fact that Stella's parrot calls her "snack bit**"!! Im still laughing at that!!

I donāt feel like the banter between the MMC and FMC was a good as it was in the two books prior but I liked how it explored brat play and polyamory which was something new and fun she brought to the universe! I also really liked Stellaās character, I saw a lot of myself in her. Also loved the chronic illness representation. Only gave it 3 because I felt like the plot was a bit all over the place but other than that, I enjoyed it.

I wish I could give this book more than five stars. I first found this whole series through tiktok and it was lights out, I loved that book so much it was my first dark romance. I was so scared at first to start the second because I loved the first couple but I've read all three now and I love all three when I tell you these books have rewired my brain, I learned more about myself through all three of these books. I listened to the audibles of all three books at work, and usually I can keep a straight face through spicy scenes but not with these books, I was blushing and pausing what I was doing. Love love love this book and the series. I was skeptical with tyler at first but boy oh boy I was wrong about that man. Loved the ending it was so sweet and happy and funny. I cried with all three books. This one especially. Keep up the great work Navessa. I look forward to any book you write. And this book along with lights out and caught up are on my will reread again and again and again. #newkinkunlocked #comfortbooks šš§”šš©¶š¤š

I was so surprised that I ended up LOVING this book! I know there was so much controversy over book two, but this one was so fun for me! The pacing was excellent and we jumped right into the meat of the story right away! If you LOVED lights out, then I think you will love this one too even if you didn't enjoy caught up.

I really didnt think Navessa could make me love Tyler but she sure did. Starting a petition for Game On part two. I need more AJ, Tyler and Stella!! Please!!!

SPOILER WARNING This book was great! I thought the story was really interesting and a great addition to this universe. Stella and Tyler are so opposite, yet we are rooting for them the whole time. Stella may be one of my new favorite FMCs. She is so cool, and the way I just know she could walk Tyler like a dog if she wanted to? Iconic. I also thought her relationship with Runa was really sweet (I just wish weād gotten a little more of it!) I think the development and growth of Tyler is great to see. Even when he is saying he hates Stella, we can see through his actions that isnāt fully the case. Like when he threatened Maddie at the party, I loved it. And just how willing he was to submit to Stella when he finally saw how wrong he was was another party I really loved. There are 3 reasons why I cannot bring myself to rate this 5 stars: 1. The relationship with AJ: I love a good why choose/MMF romance, but we donāt get much of it in this story. In fact, right now, AJ is almost like a plot device. Heās the whole reason Stella and Tyler sleep together in the first place, and while I did enjoy the scene and love AJ, I just wish heād been integrated into the story more. Especially since in the end, they all end up together. 2. The sub/dom aspect between Stella and Tyler. We see glimpses of Tyler being a brat throughout, but we donāt see their full dynamic until just one scene. Again, another great scene I loved, but it did come a little late, and I wish thereād been more like it. 3. We donāt get an official āI love youā declaration until the very last page. And Tyler thinks of Stella as the love of his life just a chapter before this, but it just seemed a bit rushed to me. I wouldāve liked to at least see them thinking to themselves how much they love each other prior to the last page. Not a bad story, just a bit rushed.
