  • Filthy, Funny, and Fully Obsessed šŸ’‹ā™ ļø
Format: Kindle
Game On by Navessa Allen 5āļø | 5šŸŒ¶ļø | 5šŸŽ§ Holy. Crap. I’m sitting here staring at the wall like I just got dropped back into reality after living inside this trilogy, completely wrecked in the best way. I’m equal parts delighted and devastated that it’s over, which honestly feels like the highest compliment I can give. This book is the perfect collision of Lights Out and Caught Up—dark, heavy, and emotionally loaded, but also sharp, hilarious, and wildly addictive. It balances tension and humor so effortlessly that I was either gripping my chest or laughing out loud, sometimes in the same chapter. I already loved Tyler from the previous books, but I was not prepared for this version of him. He is the perfect storm of grumpy, funny, and unapologetically sexy, and his character growth? Absolute peak. Watching him evolve throughout this story was one of the most satisfying arcs in the entire trilogy. And then there’s Stella—chaotic, hilarious, and completely magnetic. She didn’t just match Tyler’s energy, she challenged it, and the dynamic between them was electric from start to finish. The plot? I was locked in. Every twist, every reveal had me flipping pages like my life depended on it. I loved that nothing was handed to us—we had to work for the answers, and it made every payoff hit that much harder. And AJ? Such a welcome surprise. Truly the cherry on top of an already incredible story. Also, Amos deserves his own moment because he was the cutest little scene-stealer and I would protect him at all costs 🄹 And the audiobook? Flawless. Absolutely flawless. James Cassidy and Tara Langella delivered a performance that didn’t just elevate the story—it immersed me in it. The emotion, the pacing, the character distinction… it felt like I was listening to a full cast. I have officially added both of them to my automatic listen list. This book wasn’t just a finale—it was an experience. One that left me completely satisfied, a little heartbroken, and already wishing I could read it again for the first time. If you’ve made it this far in the trilogy, you already know… but just in case: read it, listen to it, and do yourself a favor—make it an immersive read. ... show more

  • Dark Rom-Com with great banter
Format: Audiobook
Game On, by Navessa Allen, is the third book in the Into Darkness series. These are all interconnect standalone dark rom-com books. I have toughly enjoyed the entire series, and have listened to them all on audio, because the narrators do such a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. I have always been a sucker for the fake dating trope, so I was super excited that Game On had this. Tyler, Josh’s old roommate from Lights Out is plotting his revenge on his father for ruining him and his mom’s life, but to do that, he needs to get close to Stella. He blackmails her into fake dating him so he can get into the right social circles to take down his dad. The banter and tension between the two is great from their first interaction. The plot is just as good; I really enjoyed the story line for this book. There are some deep topics that I think are handled very well. Another thing I like about this series is that each book has a pet, and this one is an African Grey parrot named Amos, he is great! I love that she chose an animal that can talk, it made for a really good time. If you like dark rom-com’s I highly recommend the Into Darkness series by Navessa Allen. ... show more

  • Highly recommend this book, and the rest of the into the darkness series šŸ’™šŸ§”šŸ’ššŸ’–šŸ–¤šŸ©¶
Format: Audiobook
I wish I could give this book more than five stars. I first found this whole series through tiktok and it was lights out, I loved that book so much it was my first dark romance. I was so scared at first to start the second because I loved the first couple but I've read all three now and I love all three when I tell you these books have rewired my brain, I learned more about myself through all three of these books. I listened to the audibles of all three books at work, and usually I can keep a straight face through spicy scenes but not with these books, I was blushing and pausing what I was doing. Love love love this book and the series. I was skeptical with tyler at first but boy oh boy I was wrong about that man. Loved the ending it was so sweet and happy and funny. I cried with all three books. This one especially. Keep up the great work Navessa. I look forward to any book you write. And this book along with lights out and caught up are on my will reread again and again and again. #newkinkunlocked #comfortbooks šŸ’™šŸ§”šŸ’ššŸ©¶šŸ–¤šŸ’– ... show more

  • Best in the Series - Loved it!
Format: Paperback
Into Darkness Series are really fun reads - but this one is by far my favorite. I love dark intense romance but didn't expect the depth in this one. The first two were more cutesy dark fun reads but Game On had much more character depth imo and it really made their banter and chemistry a million times better. I loved the story and emotional backgrounds and health triggers - it will now be on my permanent reread list. High Spice perfection. ... show more

  • A thrilling conclusion to a fun series
Format: Paperback
SPOILER WARNING This book was great! I thought the story was really interesting and a great addition to this universe. Stella and Tyler are so opposite, yet we are rooting for them the whole time. Stella may be one of my new favorite FMCs. She is so cool, and the way I just know she could walk Tyler like a dog if she wanted to? Iconic. I also thought her relationship with Runa was really sweet (I just wish we’d gotten a little more of it!) I think the development and growth of Tyler is great to see. Even when he is saying he hates Stella, we can see through his actions that isn’t fully the case. Like when he threatened Maddie at the party, I loved it. And just how willing he was to submit to Stella when he finally saw how wrong he was was another party I really loved. There are 3 reasons why I cannot bring myself to rate this 5 stars: 1. The relationship with AJ: I love a good why choose/MMF romance, but we don’t get much of it in this story. In fact, right now, AJ is almost like a plot device. He’s the whole reason Stella and Tyler sleep together in the first place, and while I did enjoy the scene and love AJ, I just wish he’d been integrated into the story more. Especially since in the end, they all end up together. 2. The sub/dom aspect between Stella and Tyler. We see glimpses of Tyler being a brat throughout, but we don’t see their full dynamic until just one scene. Again, another great scene I loved, but it did come a little late, and I wish there’d been more like it. 3. We don’t get an official ā€œI love youā€ declaration until the very last page. And Tyler thinks of Stella as the love of his life just a chapter before this, but it just seemed a bit rushed to me. I would’ve liked to at least see them thinking to themselves how much they love each other prior to the last page. Not a bad story, just a bit rushed. ... show more

  • Please where is book 4???
Format: Paperback
I couldn’t put down Game On by Navessa Allen—this book is intense, addictive, and definitely not your typical romance! If you love a true enemies-to-lovers story, this one delivers. The tension between Tyler and Stella is constant, messy, and honestly so entertaining. Their dynamic goes from hate to something much deeper, and the chemistry is off the charts. The plot has a darker edge with themes like revenge, blackmail, and power struggles, which really keeps things interesting. It’s not just romance—there’s actual depth, backstory, and emotional layers behind both characters. Game On is part of the Into Darkness series and leans into morally gray characters and high-stakes drama. I also loved the mix of humor and spice—it balances out the darker elements really well. Just know going in that it is a dark romance, so definitely check content warnings if that’s something you’re sensitive to. Overall, this book is bold, dramatic, and super engaging. If you enjoy edgy romance with strong personalities and lots of tension, this one is absolutely worth the read! ... show more

Book came in almost perfect condition. There is a small scratch on the front of it and it’ll probably would’ve been more damaged If the other book in the package hadn’t broken it’s fall after the USPS delivery driver chucked it over my fence SMH otherwise it’s a good book at a fair price. • Tyler & Stella is what we needed all along -
Format: Paperback
OKAYYYY. I loved reading this. It made me chuckle so many times. I loved the banter between Tyler and Stella. The development between them was honestly such a fun read. The love/hate relationship. The angry grrgrr between them. So funny. šŸ˜‚ I love how bad ass Stella was when she stood her ground against Maddie and that plot twist near the end was wild. My jaw dropped during the conversation with Tyler and his Aunt. 🫠 Oh oh and can we talk about those sexy chapters with Stella, Tyler and AJ? SHEEEEEEESH. So hot. 🄵 ... show more
