  • Fun read
Format: Paperback
I like this author.

  • Sharing Spaces
Format: Kindle
As much about sharing headspace and heart spaces, this is not Asimov,e rom com. In fact, at times, it seems like a therapy session for the souls, for readers seeking something beyond. In someway, these books provide a framework and vocabulary for needed conversations, for allowing relationships to develop more fully, especially between those who have experienced emotional trauma in their pasts, specifically parental traumas. Well worth a read to enjoy a quirky septuagenarian celebration on Santorini. ... show more

  • Coming to terms.
Format: Kindle
Loved the setting, storyline, and the cast of characters that surrounded the main characters of Bea and Gib. There was a good story and definitely some spice that should be a part of every sound relationship. I really enjoyed this book.

  • Beautiful setting and fun characters
Format: Kindle
Characters were solid and charming. Setting was divine. One quote misattributed to Keats instead of Dylan Thomas had me almost break faith, but I enjoyed the journey. It was just what I needed.

  • Fast paced hilarity
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of a closed up man and a woman unsure of herself and the collision of both their worlds colliding.

  • Entertaining
Format: Kindle
Can two people whose parents were emotionally abusive be what the other needs? Bea Williams is an introvert, people pleaser, thanks to her narcissistic mother and pathetic father, but she did have Golly, her mothers godmother, who swept in and took care of her during summers and after her father's death. Bea has channeled her imaginary childhood friends into a best selling young adult series, Urban Explorers, but writes under an alias. Golly has been her literary agent, but is retiring and has been pushing Bea to find a replacement. Golly is having an over the top retirement party at her home in Santorini, Greece, which the author describes in detail. Santorini has been Bea's retreat since she was young. She is organizing the party while also fighting writer's block. CEO Gibson Caddell's mother was a psychologist, who knew no boundaries, so he grew up to be very closed off, even to his cousin and uncle who took him in when his parents died. Golly decides to do some matchmaking and "accidentally" has Bea sharing not only her cottage, but a bed with Gib. This is not the first time that they shared a room, but they were pre-teens then. Were Golly's instincts right? Very entertaining , with well developed characters and snappy dialogue. I read a gifted advanced reader's copy from the publisher. This is my unbiased, volunteer and honest review. ... show more

  • wonderful
Format: Kindle
What a wonderful read. As always, Joss Wood knows how to write a really great book. I enjoyed it from start to finish. The characters are amazing, they blend so well in the story, complementing each other—and there’s only one bed! I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley.
