It has some certifications and seems like a quality build. I also like the flexibility of having interchangeable parts (cables). While not a modular power supply, it does some medium runs for the power cables which makes it great for most regular ATX builds. I got it to replace the prebuilt 350W PSU that came with the original PC before changed it to be a more efficient NAS PSU. The level of noise has dropped significantly and there are additional SATA power cables so I can further expand the build as I see fit. On top of the typical 24 pin power and 8 pin CPU there is also dual 8 pins for a GPU and 5 SATA power and 3 Molex connectors split between 2 lines. (One line has 3 SATA ending in a molex while the other has 2 SATA and 2 Molex.) I find it to be a reliable power supply for the cost especially as I plan to eventually add more storage to the system and with the additional power I know I still have headroom to grow.

I bought this PSU based on the above description! It is not modular, which I can see now that I look at the picture more closely. So yes, it's my fault for trusting the description. It's also the fault of whoever wrote the copy! It's getting a 3-star review, because I'm sure it's a fine PSU just not what I anticipated. Hopefully I will find an application for it, just not my current project! Because the return window closed yesterday while I was waiting for other components to arrive!
