Set up is super easy, I use it to keep my dogs away from my chicken fence and it works. Dogs have stayed away and chickens are safe.

Did fit what I needed

Spent the morning setting up the fence around my raised garden. Initially couldn’t get it to work. Reconfigured and managed a very low shock…( I could grab the wire with my hand with no issues) and only near the solar battery (top wire, the farther away the less shock- none at all)

The solar power until failed in roughly a week; it just refused to power up. I charged it, unconnected, for 3+ days; then set up the fence part, ran it for 3/4 days and then it just would not turn on. Called the vendor; was told probably a battery failure so return it. Fortunately, Amazon has a clean return process so the only loss was my time.

Surprisingly easy to set up. I used it for a small circular flower garden that deer had been eating. I have no way to test whether it's actually working, but I have had no deer issues since I set it up. I'm considering getting a larger one for my vegetable garden.

At first we couldn't get it to work but found the problem (with help from company) and now works great!! Would recommend to anyone who has a garden without access of electricity.

I recently purchased this unit and received 7-19-14 -- set up immediately, but no current. Contacted company and they said batteries incorrectly inserted. Checked everything and is where it should be but still no current. Cannot recommend this product.
