All the Samsung phone stylii have a spring-loaded mechanism so that if you press too hard on the thin inner screen, the stylus tip will retract. I tested this pen and could not force it to retract even with a great deal of pressure. That means that although it may save tens of dollars, it could conceivably cause a thousand dollar screen fail, so it's a false economy. Copying overpriced devices that aren't patented makes sense, but only if you copy is complete, especially with respect to product safety. ... show more
