The first moth I had my new phone I dropped it on the kitchen floor and the back cracked. I tried taping it but the tape did not stay on & the cracked glass came through, and I was afraid I would get cut. This was not covered by insurance because it was the back glass. It cost $275 to replace the back glass. So I looked for cases and I found this one. The ring is sturdy and allows me to hold the phone comfortable while I'm talking. I have dropped the phone a million times on the kitchen floor and on concrete, with the face hitting the floor and/or the back hitting the floor, and not a scratch on it! This is the absolute best case for my Galaxy Flip Phone! I got it in purple so the outside rim matches my phone, and I love it. I'm going to buy a second case just to have a spare. ... show more

it snuggle my phone and it feels nice and tight with a grip. it has a nice rubbery feeling but also a tough feeling to the touch, more tough than rubber, so it's good. the hinge was tricky when I close it but then my hubby figured it out and it works good, don't give up. Exceeded my expectations. I bought a similar-looking one by another brand, but this one was far superior. It has a snug fit, so it's not moving around if it gets snagged when you're pulling your phone out of your packet. The center piece for the hinge cover won't pop off if you drop it, even from several feet. The ring has a full 360 swivel and a clip to easily hook onto any strap (bonus points that it also doubles as a fidget toy). All-in-all a great value. Would buy again. ... show more

Edit: the seller was quick to reach out after reading this review, and offered me a full refund. I would buy products from this seller again due to their conscientious customer service. The first time I dropped my phone with this case on it, the case broke - the part covering the hinge snapped off, taking the ring with it. The ring wasn't very functional anyway. This case lasted until exactly one day after the return window closed. The main outer edge of the case is rubbery enough to be an effective bumper, but they need to use a more resilient material for the hinge protector. ... show more
