I am 6', mass around 350 lbs and have an umbilical hernia. I wear a 6x. I find the easiest way to put this on is to put it together, sit on the edge of the bed, and step into it. Then fold the first few inches outward and then pull the whole thing up until the bottom edge hits the low point I want it to be at. Then I unroll it and voila, it is on. Yes it is very snug; it is supposed to be. When I first get mine I hook it together, center it around my knees, and stretch it out with my knees. Then it goes on easier. I have had mine for several months and they are holding up just fine and I wear mine for probably 12 hours a day. I have two so I can change them. Only drawback is in the heat of summer since these do not breathe. The sweat can accumulate and eventually cause some skin damage. But around the house or during the rest of the year there is not problem. ... show more

A good piece of advice i can offer after wearing it for a few months is after you measure yourself and you're sizing is close to the minimum or up to half way, order one size down. The extender strip will help compensate whatever is needed. But this mainly applies to those who workout at a consistent rate and if you plan to use it almost daily. Another thing to be mindful of is if you're going to be at a desk for a period of time while wearing it, there's a chance of developing pressure and make the muscles near your armpits and behind (lats) a bit tender every now and then. ... show more

I just received my waist trainer. I am a female I wear 2X to 3X and women’s tops. in pants I range anywhere from 20 to 22. My midsection is fairly round. I usually have a hard time finding a waist trainer for women that is designed for women. They usually tend to be extremely small and not true to size. so I chose this male one. I ordered the 5X and without the extension it would not have fit, so I am glad I listen to another review where it said to size down and that the extension would make up for the extra space definitely did , follow the sizing chart. I’ve only had this for a few hours. I think it’s very good quality. It’s nice and thick it’s not over stretchy, the hooks feel sturdy, It does hold you in ,it does fit. It goes about mid hip a few inches below the belly button not all the way down to the pelvic area but that’s fine for me , because I’m 5’,2”, I could pull it down more but it’s fine. I will post a review later if it starts to deteriorate or break down but so far I think it’s good quality ... show more

So despite it being the biggest size, it was just a little too small, one more extension would work for me, it's exactly what I'm looking for regardless, the hooks are very strong, the side hooks on either side of the product to help pull the product up more are on the flimsy side but still, I'm planning to keep and get another for the extension but I would feel better if you could raise the size to at 8xl for folks my size, I know it'll be a great product but just a little bigger please! And make the side handles stronger cause while it's a great support, it's too weak for someone like me who is just a tad too strong for something help together by simple string ... show more

So, first, you really do need to reference size chart in the images to find your size. It has nothing to do with your american pants sizing. I wear 35” pants (not jeans) at 220lbs, 5’10”. The medium size is right for me, though I wear it (after some stretching) on the first column (most restricted) of hooks. It comes with an extender for an additional three columns of hooks which I’ve discarded now - I’d be size small using it! Some pointers: - it will stretch a bit on your first donning. subsequently is easier to get into. - the hooks are very durable. no worries there. - the material is excellent, and comfortable. - there are 16 hooks and it takes two full minutes for me to get it on. - its a compression garment so you will likely be stretching each hook into place, with nimble fingers. - i find i can wear it with hooks on the left, or right, allowing more breathing space at bottom, or top respectively. - wear a t-shirt over it or the hooks will show. - it gets quite sweaty on hot days. - of course if you wear it too tight, its hard to breath and you get a muffin top on your back.     • More Like a Waist Disaster Than a Trainer!

Oh boy, where do I even start with the Gainkee Waist Trainer Belt? 😩 I was hoping for a little bit of magic to help me shape my waist, but instead, I got a ticket to an uncomfortable ride! Let’s just say this belt was a real nope for me. First off, I don’t know who deemed this thing “breathable,” but I felt like I was wearing a sauna around my waist. 🌡️ It’s made of 100% latex, which sounds fancy, but honestly, it was more like wearing a rubber band than anything else! I was sweating bullets and gasping for air, trying to figure out how to escape this clingy contraption. And let’s talk about the “back support.” The internal boning? More like a bone of contention! 🦴 It felt less like support and more like a medieval torture device trying to hold my back hostage. I get it’s supposed to help with posture, but all it did was make me feel like a pretzel. The whole design claimed to be all about comfort and confidence, but let me tell you, it was a struggle just to breathe! I felt squished and restricted, like a sausage ready to pop. 🌭 Plus, I followed the size chart to a T, and still ended up with a product that felt way too tight and unyielding. So, to sum it up: terrible fit, uncomfortable, and definitely unbreathable. I wouldn’t recommend this waist trainer to my worst enemy, let alone to anyone trying to feel confident and comfy while getting their sweat on. 🚫 Just do yourself a favor and skip this one, friends.     • The holding power.

Product is exactly as described. Hooks are strong, materials is firm and well supportive. I am 5' 6" with a long torso and short legs. This fits my torso good. While sitting, I wear it high to the Pec's, so the boning does not push into thighs. When on my feet mostly, i wear it lower on the abdomen. A Short torso-ed person may find this unit uncomfortable. I am 62 with arthritis and I drive a lot, making it hard to stay in shape. Results; Started wearing a 3X in July, Weighing 235 lb. By Feb 1st, weighed in at 195 lb. Now wearing Large! Wear it TIGHT! So your hand will not slide between the trainer and the skin. If it does, go next size smaller. It made me aware of my waist so i ate less and started doing isometrics while drive. Started walking more. I do wear this 10 to 12 Hrs every day. From a 45" waist to 38" with no special diet. Just ate less and tried to improve what i did eat. I can now do light exercising with very little pain. My wife is now a believer and has started using a female version of this. ... show more
