  • Probably ok for short time outdoors in mild temps
Color: S/M (Black)
I was excited to find these gloves. I’m a huge fan of convertible mittens. Mittens keep my hands warmer but are not always practical when out doing yard work, hiking or walking the dog, so it’s nice to have the option to expose your fingers when you need to use them. However, most convertible mittens convert to fingerless gloves, which means on it they are useless for keeping you warm except when used as mittens. So I thought the design of these was fantastic and from the description, assumed they’d be windproof and water resistant, as well as thin and lightweight for carrying in a backpack. They lived up to expectations in terms of being thin and lightweight, fit my (very small) hands well and with their clever design. I was disappointed though that they are not at all warm or windproof, and the fabric did not appear to be tightly woven enough to be water resistant either, although I didn’t test it. If you want these to wear on short runs in above-freezing dry weather, they are probably ok. If you were looking for something to keep you warm for hours in below-freezing wet conditions, keep looking. ... show more

  • good for raynauds
Color: S/M (Black)
I always have cold hands while running, these have been great down to 28 degrees as long as I keep the mitten cover on - and tuck my thumb in. It's so much easier than trying to adjust my hydration pack or take a picture with the bulky skiing gloves/mittens I usually wear in the cold. Once it gets below 25, or if it's wet/windy these probably won't be enough, but I'm thrilled with how warm they are for being so lightweight! I'll keep an eye out and buy another pair if they go on sale. ... show more

  • Low quality material
Color: S/M (Black)
The material is super thin-I opened the package, put on my glove and the seam instantly ripped a hole in the side.

  • Too light, but good for cool mornings
Color: L/XL (Black)
I've been waking around 5am for runs for a while now (at least since Spring kicked in), but my hands would get too chilly for some mornings, so I thought these might help out. While they're a small layer of coverage, they definitely wouldn't be enough for really cold mornings, even with the covering. When the weather drops again, I'll report back to find out my personal temperature limit. ... show more

  • Good for Cool Mornings
Color: S/M (Black)
I got these gloves for winter running but they aren't thick enough or warm enough for temperatures below 25ºF. The fabric is thin and the wind proof flap for the fingers is thin as well. On the upside, I really like these for early morning running, especially on windy days. Often my hands get too hot in the thicker gloves anyway and I can keep these on longer. The flap for the fingers tucks into the pocket when not in use and it does help keep the fingers warn when the wind is blowing. The touchscreen fingers work to work the screen on my phone which is a huge bonus while I'm running. i can answer my phone without taking off my gloves. For those who like a thinner running glove to help with wind, these are perfect. Just keep hand warmers handy for really cold days as they do slip inside nicely and help with the warmth. ... show more

  • Poor stitching
Color: S/M (Black)
The convertible design is a nice feature. The nylon cover can tuck into a little pocket on the top of your hand. Unfortunately, the overall construction quality is poor. -The stitching is horrible on these gloves. There are numerous loose threads just waiting to unravel. There are even some stitches that appear to have been sewn incorrectly. -The gloves are very thin so only useful for mild weather like a warm spring/autumn. The nylon "mitten" cover is also very thin so while it may block some wind, won't add any warmth beyond that. ... show more

  • it's lightweight - would not characterize as warm winter gera
Color: S/M (Black)
the description on the listing says 'warm winter' gear but the packaging is more accurate where it states 'lightweight convertible running gloves'. The design is cool where the 'mitten' portion can be tucked in, but the mitten portion is super light and not insulating.
