Once upon a time in a land called “My Living Room,” a brave but budget-conscious heroine (hi, it’s me) set out on a quest to find a yoga mat that didn’t smell like melted tires, didn’t cost a fortune, and didn’t feel like doing downward dog on a hardwood floor. 🐕🦺 Then came the magical moment—cue sparkles and harp music—when the Pink Marrakesh mat appeared in my Amazon suggestions like a vision from the fitness gods. Under $20? Check. Pretty design that makes me feel a little fancy even when I’m in old sweatpants? Also check. When it arrived (via Prime chariot), I unrolled it expecting at least a slight whiff of chemical doom—but nope! No weird smell. None. It was like opening a fresh new start. The 4mm thickness gives it just the right amount of cushion for my knees and wrists without feeling like I’m bouncing on memory foam. Not a yoga mat expert but I can say this is great value. Regarding the chemical smell, yes, it is extremely strong but it will disappear if you air the mat overnight. As mentioned, I am not a yoga mat expert but I found the "non-slip" description somewhat inaccurate, with a little bit of seat on your hands I had trouble keeping my grip in some positions. Used this for my work bench cover. Looks good, functions well, nice thickness, easy to clean and trimming it was quite simple. If you plan on using this for a work bench cover where you will be breaking down your truck engine it may not be the best choice. Edit 6/13/25: This is trivial but this mat is listed as PINK marraskesh and trust me, there is zero pink in it. Orange and a very dark blue.... not pink :-) ... show more
