This has been a great table, light weight, small, easy to assemble and sturdy. I've used it on 4 trips so far and don't see the need to spend any extra money on the high dollar brands. Some gear you don't go cheap on, but this table seems to be just fine so far.

    • Would be a great table, but there’s a substantial flaw

This table is sturdy, lightweight, easy to set up, plenty strong for its intended use, a good usable size, and comes a a good price point. So it would seem to have all the makings of a great, easy-to recommend choice. But there’s a fatal flaw. The top “attaches” by the two stiffener rods on the edges of the long axis fitting into slots in the top of the plastic fittings that join the legs at each corner. The problem is that they do not “snap in.” There’s no retention of any kind. So the tension of the tight fit of the top - desirable for a nice, flat, no sag surface - causes the rods to pop out of the slot they sit in. At the slightest provocation or none at all. Difficult to describe, but part of the issue is that the tension causes the plastic fittings to rotate inward ever so slightly, thereby angling the slot slightly toward the pull of the tension, just making it that much easier for the rods to jump out. I had this table for some time before using it, so a return isn’t possible. I will have to try to find a modification that prevents this problem from occurring. Shouldn’t have to, but for the faulty design. And of course I have no idea if its a common issue, or this one is just… special. Best of luck. ... show more

Pros: very light and compact. Great for backpacking. Five stars if you're only using it to put your phone on. But you're probably using it to set a drink or cooking gear on so... Cons: the top is cloth with metal bars for stiffening. Great idea but you get an uneven surface. I was concerned about using a camp stove with a pot on it so I made a flat aluminium plate to lay on top. Works but defeats the whole purpose. I would recommend one with the roll out aluminum top for cooking. This is more for just keeping your gear off the ground. ... show more

I want to love this because it is seriously lightweight. However, it will NOT stay together without zipties. We've had multiple people try different methods to keep the top from popping out but i must have got a warped one. Now it's too late to return and i wouldn't say I'd try it again since any possible bending would prevent it from keeping set in the notches. I would go for a table that clips underneath or something and it's worth the extra ounces. ... show more

We bought the table mainly to go camping, but it has also been very useful on beach trips! It replaced a plastic table we had which took more space, this one folds quick and easy and goes into its bag which is easy to place anywhere, from tossing it into any available space on the car trunk to inside a backpack. The setup and teardown processes are quick, the table is sturdy, depending on the surface it might not be super stable though, and since the top is fabric, you need to be careful when placing tall objects, but as you can see, we have wine cups without issues! ... show more

At first, I really liked this table. Until I mistook it for my chair which was a big no no. All the beams bent way too easily even for my 160 lb frame. But with that my own stupidity stated, it’s a great light weight table that easy to put together and store. Will get another one and hopefully not ruin it ... show more
