Having loved my Helinox chair purchase, I took a flyer on this cot. I usually sleep terribly on hiking trips using inflatable sleeping pads and thought the extra 1.5 pounds compared to my pad would be a good trade-off. It was! I slept much better than usual and the cot held my 6'2", 230-lb body off the ground in comfort! The only downside is that it's narrow - lying on my back, my arms had to rest on the poles, which was annoying but better than a pad. Still, much more comfortable than a pad and great for side sleeping. I'll be bringing it on all future trips!

The material is so slippery, you set up on even a slight incline and you’ll be sliding off it all night. 23” is so small my arms don’t fit on it. Lastly, why don’t you include the legs…. They would make it so much better. Bottom line is, no one takes a cot backpacking so you’ll never need ultralight weight cots.

For what I’m looking for….getting off the ground. This thing is amazing and lightweight. The only ding I would give it is that the width is not very wide and ur arms will hang off the side in certain positions. This can be overcome using spare camping clothes piled up next to it because it is very low. So overall I am extremely happy.

This camping cot is so easy to put together. It is sturdy and extremely comfortable. I went camping in the mountains so the light weight in my backpack was appreciated. The 73" fit in my one man tent. For added comfort I used an air mattress on the cot. It was great! I would recommend this cot for camping.

When camping, I sleep in the bed of my truck. My truck bed fits 2 of these cots perfectly. My girlfriend and I were complaining that several other cots, beds, etc. hurt our backs. I had heard the old timers who motorcycle camp talk about how comfortable these things are but I never believed them. On a whim I ordered one. The cot is surprisingly easy to assemble. Or course a feat of strength is required the first couple of times just like any cot. I used the cot with a sleep pad on top and it was honestly more comfortable than my bed at home. The bags it lives in are well made and have lots of space. No fighting to pack it down (unlike my ultralight tent).
