The original battery would not hold a charge and software on the laptop kept saying it needed to be replaced. This came close to the specs for the original battery so I bought it. The battery works fine. The battery life when charged isn't exceptional but maybe the same as the factory installed battery as my Lenovo is quite large and probably uses more power than most laptops. I would say that it's good for about three to four hours of constant use.

I'm using it for an hour about 5 times/week for almost two month now. For me the battery life is enough for about 2.5 hours of usage with Google remote desktop + Ubuntu, but probably would be much shorter with more demanding apps. I would say the battery looses about 1-2% of charge a day when laptop is powered off -- which is OK with me. ... show more
