Description

Next-gen Torpedo-embedded Tube Amp If you’re impressed by Revv’s revolutionary D20, then you’ll flip over the G20. This guitar amp head delivers the same killer miked-cab tone as its predecessor, but ups the ante with next-level sound-shaping options. Armed with glowing-hot 6V6s and 12AX7s, the G20 delivers the sound of Revv's acclaimed Purple Channel, and you can sculpt that tube-fueled muscle in a myriad of ways via a 3-band EQ, Volume and Gain controls, and a Wide switch. Three Aggression levels dial in the amp’s character from warm saturation to paint-peeling high-gain. And thanks to embedded Torpedo technology from Two Notes, the cab is optional. You also get a power-reduction circuit and buffered series FX loop. While it’s jam-packed with modern bells and whistles, the G20’s best feature is its to-die-for sound. Plug in, and you’ll experience tube amp tone at its highest level.Embedded Two Notes Torpedo tech for cab-free

  • Great little head!
So I play in a couple cover bands. One, I use my Helix direct into the PA and the other, I use the Helix with the 4CM into the Revv, through an EVH 2x12. The Revv is very versatile, with a great effects loop and more than enough power to gig with. Great cleans and distortions, with many different options to tweak your tone. Plus the 2 notes direct out with cab simulation makes dialing in at the FOH easy. Our sound guy loves this setup. I did buy mine used at GC and not off Amazon but wanted to share a review. I tried multiple times to setup midi via Helix but I just couldn’t get it to work the way I wanted it to. Other than than, I love it! ... show more
