Pretty great ram kit. Was able to tune very easily. Runs cl34 8000 with tuning and only needed a small voltage bump to get there and gets 67ns in Aida. Even with ridiculously tight timings, it doesn't touch tight timings cl26 6000 at 60ns.

The G.Skill Royal series of RAM has been the best in the industry for a few years now, and these are the best ever of the superlative line of sticks. First, they look fantastic. Silver heat sink plates and ice-textured LED lights. These will match any setup, and they look great on my predominantly white Lan Li 011 build. But what really separates these from the dense crop of RAM sticks is the performance and reliability. I put them in my Aorus X870E Pro mobo, and with two click of the mouse in the BIOS, I immediately got the advertised 8000 MT/s CL 38-48-48-128 timings. Never had an easier time overclocking the RAM in my long history of building computers. I remember the day when I had to step up the speed while reducing CAS Latency, while ALSO tweaking voltages. What a nightmare. I literally clicked the mouse 2x, and my mobo recognized the speeds right away. That is partly credit to Gigabyte's superlative BIOS, but it's also a credit to these RAM sticks. I've been running them pretty hard since I built this PC, and they have been reliable, fast and simply awesome. If you are going for a highend build, look no further. You can trust that these have more than successfully took the baton and took the G.Skill Royal legacy to the next level. These are the best out there right now, and nothing is really close. Install was easy and painless. I am running an intel 265k cpu. I manually went into the bios and setting it at 8000mhz with the listed timings, and no issues. The ram may be the best looking, arguably. No crashes and no boot issues running at the speeds. Loving it so far hopefully it remains consistent! ... show more

First 8000MTs kit Ive bought that actually worked on first boot with normal expo setting. Pricey? yeah. Worth it? Mehh. 1% lows are better but not sure this speed is really needed for AMD but its sure nice to have and say you have. I guess hah. Great kit all in all. Ive gotten the timing down to CL36 on stock EXPO voltages and these do run cool for being a higher voltage and speed kit. Surprisingly I havent seen them go above 60c, on air, mind you. SO again, good kit if you have the cash ... show more
