I sleep comfortably on this thing and mainly purchased it based on price. I would recommend buying it if you need something economical and don't mind sleeping on the floor. My frame of reference is that I am raised in midwest america and grew up sleeping on typical American beds. The futon arrived earlier than originally forecasted so that was a nice surprise. Packaging was great and the futon is clean and no foul odors. Let it air out for a few days so as let it "fluff" out but no fluffing out, so it is really 3 inches thick. I ordered 2 other futons before I ordered this one, which I had to send back because; 1)Took bulky when folded and took up too much space in my closet 2)difficult to fold them since they are memory foam lastly 3)too heavy. I needed a futon when I can pull out when I have guests over and needed to take less space and comfortable. This not only meets those requirement, but it's stylish with a minimal look. Cinnamon color goes well with my interior so it's not an eyesore when I take it out.
