  • Great timings, good price, awesome performance and no unnecessary RGB!
First of all, this works well with the Noctua NH-D15 and NH-D15S but I am not sure about other air coolers. (check the official product website for details about this) This RAM kit is pretty nice and its performance is very stable with no issues using the included AMD EXPO profiles. (Please note that while this ram will work with Intel CPUs as well, it would be better for you to look for one with XMP profiles instead as you will have to otherwise manually adjust the clock speed and timings). Not having RGB offers different benefits such as a lower heatsink, less heat produced and possibly more stability as some RGB controllers can sometimes cause issues. However, if RGB is your thing, I believe G.Skill offers the same set of RAM with RGB so you may look for that instead. As for my setup, I am using this with the Asus B650E-E motherboard and the AMD 7900X CPU. I haven't tweaked anything beyond using the included EXPO profiles but I will update this review if I have any issues. ... show more

  • These sticks are running perfect with my 7800x3d. Just a bit tall for my noctua nh15. No biggie.
I've had no issues with the performance and operation of these sticks. No regrets from these sticks. With the noctua nh15 cooler I had to raise a fan 14mm to fit over these sticks. They don't heat up much as my cpu tops out at 55-60c and gets down to 32c at idle. CL30 is a no brainer and I wouldn't settle for a different pair of sticks, except the same thing just 2x32gb instead. Star citizen and dcs world do want 64gb so I may sell these to a lucky person and upgrade to 64gb, or more even so I can run uncompressed memory with virtual memory set to 0. G.skill have been my goto without hesitation since the i7 7700k days. It's only a few bucks extra to get the good stuff. Get the good stuff, you know you want too, so do it. ... show more

  • Who really needs rgb on their ram anyways?
Monster sized performance in a non blinding form factor. I have enough rgb already, these are nice and dark.

  • Work as expected : fast and reliable
Well protected, easy to install, work perfectly after 8 months : 5 stars. DDR5 RAM is expensive, but it's worth it, especially with an AMD Ryzen CPU and a good mother board which know how to handle them. I should have bought the RVB edition though, just for fun, and this is what I'll do for my next purchase of memory with GSkill. ... show more

  • Hynix A-Die
My favorite kit of ram, I've honestly never been good with ram, I've built 3 completely different systems in my 33 years, never where any of them stable with ram overclocks, at best I could get something slightly better than platform default but not fantastic. This is the first kit of ram I've ever owned which was stable at it's rated OC speeds, not just that but I was also able to tighten up the subtiming as well without effecting stability. In the past if I bought a high end kit of ram I would be lucky if it was stable for me (in past systems) at -800mhz thats no exaggeration I just never had any luck what so ever. Even when buying ram on my motherboards support list as compatible without absurd speeds I still couldn't reach rated speeds. On AM4 I had 2 different CPU's a 3600, and a 5600 neither of them where stable above 3200mhz, the 3600 wasn't stable above 2800mhz. This kit? Hits rated speeds, has headroom to improve timing even more, even still it's rock solid stable. ---- Worked on this kit a bit more, was able to push it further, got some really good 6000mhz timings, but was also able to post at 6400mhz loose timings which is pretty rare on AM5 atm, AMD's memory controller has never been it's strong suit, and it's not super common to get a combo of mobo/cpu/ram which is capable of hitting 6400mhz on AM5. I didn't bother tightening timings at 6400mhz as I really liked results I was getting from the kit at 6000mhz. ... show more

  • Perfect for my Ryzen 7 build
I picked these up for a new Ryzen 7 build and they’ve been flawless. Honestly, for the price, the quality is top-tier. I just enabled the Expo profile in the BIOS and it hit the 6000MT/s speed immediately with no stability issues. If you’re building on AM5, this is pretty much the sweet spot for speed and timing. Definitely glad I didn't overspend on a 'fancier' brand. ... show more

  • Runs fine after latest bios update
I've been building computers for over 30 years. That being said no matter the settings I've tried this will not run at 6000mhz. It is stable and runs fine at 4800mhz. But will not run at the rated speed. This is the second kit that won't work at the rated speed. It is on the qvl list. UPDATE my aorus 670 elite ax just issued a new bios update f11d. The ram finally runs at 6000 mhz. Been stable running starfield yesterday and today. I'm very pleased now. ... show more
