If you're buying RAM I assume you know what you're doing. So you know you could buy it at that egg place or at your nearest big box store. First - GSKILL makes great RAM. They really do. Never had a problem with their sticks. Second - glad they sell on Amazon too, as it's super fast and easier to get in your hands. Works just fine but be aware, if you use a 7000 series AMD chip, you won't be able to use 4 sticks. DDR5 is very pick for Zen 4 architecture. Only 4 single channel sticks will work. These are dual channel and my B650 Gaming plus Wifi Mobo refused to post with 4 of these. If you use 32gb or above, expect to use pairs only. And make sure you enable EXPO or XMP, these are at 4800Mhz out of the box. You need to enable that to use the listed 6000Mhz. ... show more

    • Don't confuse stability of Ram vs CPU and BIOS compatibility with EXPO

Initially had problems running EXPO on a b650 tomahawk, memory context restore led to BSOD bluescreen and general instability even when updating bios. Tweaked some settings mainly "Enable Power Down" and ran it at 6000 mhz manual. This helped avoid Bluescreen but still had issues with sound popping and crackling. I am not sure what the issue was but I assume the default voltage on the MB was too high but after researching and watching some Gamers Nexus videos it is most likely it is a compatibility issue with MB's and AMD, the MB companies not receiving correct data from AMD leading to instability utilizing EXPO. I solved this by switching to a Asus ROG Strix B650E-F Wifi and have not had a problem with this RAM thus far. Although I was a bit confused being that without expo this RAM is rated at 4000 mhz not 6000. I assumed default speeds were 6000 and EXPO would increase it further. I am not 100% sure on this but it seems as if the advertised speeds are only when EXPO profile is on. Seems to be the case. Very curious about the flagship version from Gigabyte if it is any better but I just hate RGB tbg. Hope this review helps. ... show more

Well its RAM, pretty darn fast RAM too. Very sleek stealthy design with a lot of clearance in my system for the CPU cooler. I suggest everyone to check the QVL list for their motherboards before buying the product, since we all know how bad compatibility can be with DDR5. Anyone having issues with getting stuck on reboot loop to BIOS like me trying to get enable EXPO mode even though its compatible on the QVL list, what I did was run the RAM at auto while setting the speed to the advertised 6000mhz. After a few days, just go back to bios and turn on EXPO mode and it boots fine for my system. ... show more

FYSA: This is a great RAM dual stick pack. I have no complaints. Just be aware that if you buy two of these kits for an AMD 5 motherboard for 128 GB. It may not run at the rated EXPO speeds of 6000MT/s. You would need to buy a kit with 4 sticks of RAM (128 GB kit) that is at your wanted speeds. So check the board manufacturer's website. Review: I have an ASUS X670 ProArt AM5 motherboard and I love the features of the board for what I do. I thought that buying two of these sticks would get me 128 GB of RAM running at 6000MT/s but I was wrong. The four sticks run at 3600MT/s which is even under the default speeds of the sticks which are 4800MT/s. This was my fault and not these sticks of RAM. I just wanted you to be aware. I would highly recommend buying this kit for AM5 motherboards. ... show more
