Nice little boombox. it's been really fun to plaque my old cassette tapes from the 80's. The only feature I miss on this player is the tape counter, so if you want to play back a song, you know how far to forward/rewind by the counter. Other than that, so far it's compact, lightweight, hard to say on sound quality as I'm playing old tapes that aren't in stereo. This has got to be the cutest combo player I have ever seen. On top of that everything works. It's compact easy to carry and both battery and AC compatible. I consider it a great product at this time and the price is very reasonable. Can't beat that

    • Small, but pretty good.
Great size, good sound. Loss of star reason: while it is am/fm, you must tune the station in if you flip back and forth. I use am for sports, but fm for music. Each time you switch, you must dial the station in. Otherwise, it's a nice unit. There were no directions of any kind in the box.

This small CD/Cassette player is just about the best quality since sliced bread. It is well worth the cost and gives a lovely sound on just about all of my CD's.

    • You get what you pay for
The speakers are basic but I just wanted a CD/Tape deck on my desk to run into a larger sound system so I thought this would do. However, the tape deck (like every other cheap portable on here since Sony stopped making their classic) makes a horrible noise through the speakers whenver its in use, even fastforwarding & rewinding. The CD is good at reading discs, even plays some that other players won't but it doesn't have gapless playback. So if you listent to a mix CD or just a concept album where the tracks segue into each other, you get this irritating gap. The final insult came after owning it for 2 months it chewed up a brand new tape that I'd only played once. Summary: cheap junk ... show more
