These are nice shoes. They do cost a bit more than the original version, however, the upgrades seem worth it to me. The support by the shoe is great and they are comfortable now for long-wearing and active lifestyles (I chase around a 6 yr. old and a 10 yr. old in my spare time). I did have a little trouble on the left side of the shoe with some discomfort on my foot initially. I attribute that to break-in time as they are perfectly comfortable now after a couple of weeks. Husband used the shoes for daily office wear, its easy to slip into and has decent comfort and support. But the workmanship quality is horrible as the inside stitching on the inner sole came apart and the entire shoe is unusable. Unfortunately the shoe fell apart right after the return period expired so cant return it either. Disappointed. ... show more

I have a narrow foot and the fit is just a little loose. I adjusted by putting on a thicker sock. The shoe is well made with leather top and rubber sole. This shoe can be worn with dress or casual clothing. I would definitely buy these again.
