Used this to black out some glass cabinet doors for an audio cabinet. Applied easy enough and haven't had any issues. Applied to some irregular lenses as well. Once heat gun was used the tint conformed pretty easily had has stayed on so far.

EDIT: The seller reached out to me on their own to offer a refund. I’m impressed they reached out. Gave 5 stars for good customer service. Worked for an acrylic window in a tractor. But it turned purple within 2 weeks compared to the other windows that are glass with traditional tint. And it’s starting to peel at the edges. It’ll work for now until I can get the glass replaced.

I have mixed feelings about this tint. It’s somewhat purple when light goes through it (no ammonia or windex applied), it’s not a film like a regular tint is, it’s rubber. One MAJOR component I do not like is how seeing through it is blurry. Since it is on my back window, i can’t get a description of the car behind me. It’s a great tint if you slapped it on the back seat windows though.

Unless you have thousands of hours of applying window tint do not waste your time or money on this product! You will aggravate yourself to no end! I literally spent 2.5 hours + on one window and the "static cling" does not cling to the window corners! It is impossible to get all the "bubbles" out like you can with glue on tint. My idea was to use this product on my large windows in the summer months then remove it during the winter months. Not a chance that this would be an option. Go with permanent tint (which is infinitely easier to apply), or don't tint at all. I would not recommend this product. I'm sorry, pissed at myself, that I purchased it.

This is a great product and I am ordering enough to finish the other windows in my house. I will give a few lessons to make things easier and hopefully you won't have to experience the same lessons. - Use a spray bottle of water with just a few drops of soap to wet the window prior to install. I have seen others recommend solutions but this is just as good. I will say if you think the window is wet enough, it's not. Go ahead and spray some more. With enough solution on the glass, you can slide and position where this is impossible if it's too dry. - Cut the film a little on the large side. I added an 1/8" to each side to give a little leeway. You can go back and trim this after it's dry. - Let the window dry overnight, and then go back and trim and push fully into the cornets of the windows. When it's still wet, it won't adhere all the way into the corners. If you come back and check the next day it won't be a problem. All in all, it's highly recommended and I will definitely purchase again! I will say the installation kit is nice, but if you have the equipment to do it it's not mandatory. The small squeegee was very nice though!
