I like these but wish they would have held the two sides together with more than a little tack weld. They don’t fall apart but the line between the two halves is obvious and lessens the effect. If placed right the fire coming from the eyes is near. Everyone who noticed them wanted to know where I got them, which is cool. Halfway want to order like 4 sets and just use them instead of the lava rock that came with my propane fire pit, it would probably be cool if it was just a pile of skulls in the fire pit ... show more

Other than being a little bit pricey, these skulls are pretty darn cool. I have three in a fire feature with glass on the porch and another three I placed on a frame to place in my fire pit.

At first. . . So here's the thing. I got these because A. I like skulls. I wear them in clothing, I have one on an end table, I drink from one with a handle as a cup, B. I like fires. Not related to the skulls (previously at least), I just really enjoy camping and such, and C. I wanted to make the neighbour kids question reality a moment. And for this product. . .success on all three. Cool. They are definitely skulls. They are metal, with a minor bit of heft, but I like that. They are hollow in all the right places, and look genuinely good. They definitely were good in the fireplace (or fires in general). They almost helped make the flames go higher from the looks of it, and it was delightful watching fire dance behind the empty spaces in the eyes or pop out the top of the cracks in their heads. And C. . .yeah, the neighbour kids don't really feel like arguing after seeing flaming skulls in the fireplace while I chuckle ominously. So all around win. Excellent product. The media could not be loaded. This metal skeleton head is not just for Halloween. 🔥 💀 🔥 We use this as a conversation piece in our fire pit and propane fire table. We have been using this for over a month with heavy use on weekends nights and this is still solid and has not cracked or become deformed. The packaging is a black cardboard box with a large white label with an image of the imitated skull. This box is small enough under the 12 inch per side limit in the event we want to ship to someone as a gift. This set comes with a carrying bag that feels like a thick tyvek type material with double stitched handles to prevent them from tearing off and dropping this heavy decoration. The large opening at the top allows for us to place a candle 🕯 or those color changing pine combs to give this skull that flare ( see what I did there 😉) ... show more

I bought these thinking they were ceramic. NOPE, STEEL. If you are a big time welding person, you will be able to nit pick it, but to me, not bad. I bought them to sit on top of tiki torches for Halloween. They could just as easily be used for a fire pit, alter to Satan, or paint them, bury them around in parks and stuff, and watch the news for your local homicide detectives to be busy. I painted mine with high temp primer (pictures), and the. I will be going over with high temp white. They are packed VERY well, and after summoning a demon fun is over for the evening, it even comes with a storage bag. I bought five initially, and I am buying more.
