While I do like the overall look of this playpen I was very disappointed in the fact that my 8 month old puppy is able to unlatch the door from the inside. I wanted something safe and reliable to use when I have to be away from home and don’t like to leave her in the crate unless I have to. I started with a tent like playpen but she eventually chewed a hole in the side and got out so I thought I found something she could not escape from. Boy was I wrong! The first time she got out I thought I didn’t secure the latch and blamed it on myself. The second time I was convinced that she climbed out because the door was closed when I got home. However, I tested that theory and discovered that she’s not able climb out. The third and final time I discovered that she is indeed able to get the door unlatched! Because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of trying to find something else, I opted to use an old collar around the top of the door to keep it closed. So even though she is still able to unlatch it, the collar is what’s keeping the door closed. I may eventually get a lock but decided to use something I already had available. With that being said, the playpen is very easy to assemble. I would agree that the metal is very easy to get scratched but that didn’t bother me as much. If my puppy was not able to escape I would have given the product 4 stars *** Update: The seller reached out and sent me another playpen free of charge. Hopefully the original one I received was defective and I don’t encounter the same problem. I am very pleased with their customer service and how quickly they worked to resolve the issue. ... show more

We have a new puppy and so we are currently using this to section off parts of the house in order to limit his access. I love that this can be setup to use as a gate to block areas and also as a pen. It's easy to move around, feels nice and solid and seems to be well-made. Aside from the housebreaking assistance, I'm really looking forward to being able to bring this camping with us. In the past we've pretty much had to keep our dog on a leash at our side, and I can't imagine that's too exciting for them. So this will be a nice upgrade in that regard! I did have to reach out to the company as one of the stakes was missing from the set we received. Their response took less than a day, and they shipped out a replacement immediately. Unfortunately, Fedex damaged the replacement set (the packaging was excellent - this was definitely Fedex's fault) and so I reached out to them again. They were again incredibly prompt and courteous, and we were able to get the situation taken care of. I honestly can't praise their service enough! That alone is worth a lot to me. Toby loves this fence, and I do too! I use it with my RV and Gazelle shelter to allow him to come and go from inside the RV, to the outside as he pleases. He loves this freedom, and I like that he can roam freely on our campsite without worrying he'll wander off to go visit his friends and neighbors. This fence is really well designed and easy to use. Super simple to install and configure as you need it. You can really set it up with any angles you need with the easy to install spikes. You may need a rubber mallet if you come across firm or rocky ground. The stakes don't need to penetrate the ground much, but the more they do, the more stable the fence becomes. I try to hammer the spikes down until they are flush with the fence rails. My only gripe is with the 40" fence, where there are two latches on the gates, and if you have a dog on a leash or are carrying anything, you need both hands to open the gate. Opening the gate can prove challenging without both hands. I reached out to the vendor and they were very receptive to this feedback and have in fact indicated there is a new latching add-on coming that will address this concern. I give this fence 5-stars since it does exactly what I need, can handle any configuration I need (as long as I have enough panels), and the company stands behind their product and is willing to consider feedback. I have 32 x 40" panels for the front RV area, and 16 x 24" panels to cover the backside of RV. I also got the bumpers to protect my RV paint, and the bags to carry and store the fences. Very satisfied with my purchase. Works as advertised for my needs. I have two small Cavalier Kings and live in a townhouse with no backyard fence. The fencing is easy to setup and take down and gives the dogs an area to go outside and lay in the sun. With the individual fence panels I can easily adjust the size of the compound making it larger or smaller. I’m considering purchasing additional fence panels, which are available to purchase, although the 16 panels I have now is a good size area for my small dogs. I can transport the fencing with me when I go camping to give the dogs a small area to roam without being constantly tied up. I’ve had no issues with it and I’m satisfied with the quality. It does take up a lot of room transporting it, but with a pickup truck or larger SUV it’s not a big issue. Overall I’m very happy with it and would recommend to my friends and family. ... show more
