UPDATE on 8/15/23 The company reached out to me about the door latch or rather lack of one to make opening easier and offered me a solution. I am so appreciative of their wonderful gesture and the fact that THEY reached out to me and wanted to help to make my purchase a positive one. I still stand by the tease of putting up and the height for me, love it. Great playpen and I am so looking forward to receiving the door panel with the latch (came on another playpen they offered) because once I replace the old door with the new, it should be perfect!!!!!! I will definitely buy more from the company in the future. Their customer service and all out effort to help a customer...spot on perfect:) Overall, I really like this playpen with the EXCEPTION of how the heck is one to open the gate while simulataneously trying to pick up the two small hinges??? It is the most odd thing ever and I have had playpens in the past but no door handle to open is so bizarre! That's the downfall of this playpen is trying to maneuver the two tiny latches all the while trying to also at the same time try and get the door open with your fingers, very difficult for something that should be so easy.

This gate has been a lifesaver for my family. I took away one star because when we are not actively using it I will have to disassemble it to store it rather than it having the ability to fold up and store. The gate is big enough for a medium size dog or large dog that is able to obey some commands. We are using it for a 20 pound pug currently and used it for a 45 pound cattle dog that knew commands. The larger dog could jump if she was not trained. The smaller dog could not jump the enclosure. We use a clip to hold the door open when the dog is out so she can access her bed / potty pad and toys inside the gate. We used masking tape to cover the bottom gate latch so that it doesn't latch - it is difficult to unlatch both at the same time to open the gate so we only use the top latch. There are grippers on the bottom of the panels that prevent sliding and protect the floor from scratched. The white color makes it match the house better so that visitors dont immediately notice the large puppy pen in the living room. It is spacious enough for a medium potty pad / medium dog bed / toy pile area / feeding & watering area. Changes Id make: design ability to fold into a stack of panels without falling all over when not in use, ability to connect bottom latch and top latch for one handed unlocking, wider gate panel for larger dogs.

Our Golden had to have knee surgery and we were told that he needs to be crated. Getting him to go in a crate would been painful and sad, so we opted to get this instead because it would give Max more room and yet keep him from moving around too much. . Assemble was easy. Home from surgery and we put him in it but he wasn’t happy. We let him out for a little while and when we were going to bed, Max was sleeping on the floor and refused to get up, so we moved the pen to him. The look on his face was “well, I didn’t see that one coming.” The next night he was whining because he usually sleeps in our room, so we moved the pen in there and he slept all night. In the morning we moved it back out. This will be our game plan for the next 3 months.

This pen is amazing, I have a 15 yr old 15 pound Cairn Terrier, who no longer can control where she goes to the bathroom, and is almost blind. She wanders aimlessly and is mostly lost and stuck until I save her. Now I get up when she wakes up in her bed beside my bed about 6AM, I give her breakfast and i put her in her playpen she just walks around and goes to the bathroom on her pads in the playpen and goes in her bed back to sleep. When I get her up I take her for a walk then she spends most of the time just wandering around the house under my supervision, this playpen is the only way I can safely leave her to leave the house. If your fur baby is at this place in his or her life this playpen is a must. I believe she feels safe in the playpen and being lost as a blind dog in the house is not comfortable for her as she gets stuck and cries a lot when she is loose in the house. I use 8 panels including the gate she has so much room for her pads and bed and water. I do not put her in the pen and leave her all day and night we have a routine that utilizes the pen at intervals during the day only.

I bought this playpen recently for our 5 month old small breed puppy hoping it would be a safe way to confine our puppy when we’re not home without using a crate!!! And this was just that!! We are only using 6 panels which includes the gate! We ordered the one that has the lowest threshold under the gate! Not only has it met our expectations but the puppy lives it too and occasionally will enter it just to take a nap or get a drink of water!! It was very easy to put together and it’s very sturdy once it’s up! Ours is black and nit very noticeable which helps to keep the room size from feeling smaller! We have a smal dog bed, a couple of small doggie blankets and toys, a bowl of water and a disposable pee pad over 2 pads we use to protect the floors! It is worth every penny we paid for it!! I highly recommend it!!

This play pen is perfect for my small room. It was easy to assemble and I think it's a great place to secure my 5 month old puppy. He seems to like it, too. It allows him more space to play as well as a quiet area to sleep. The pen is well made and was reasonably priced at the time I purchased it. I like the versatility of being able to arrange it in different shapes and sizes. I would highly recommend this product. I am very pleased with this play pen.

Great dog pen. Solid and will help contain your pup or small dog. We use it in doors and our pup weighs about 20lbs at the moment. When we received the pen we were missing 2 of the connector rods but a quick email to the mfg and in 3 days we had the missing parts. Super happy with the product. If you need a nice playpen for your fur baby give this a try.
