We saw another family with this fence never seen it before. Research did thought it was kind of spendy and then finally bought the bullet and bought the fence. Set in my garage for 3 months before we went camping. When we finally used it was the best purchase we've ever made and wished we had done it years ago. The dogs were so happy not being tied to a rope we were so happy not having to constantly untangle 3 dogs. If you're on the fence no pun intended about purchasing this go ahead and do it it's a life saver her dogs enjoyed camping so much more. I can't say enough about this product and will never go anywhere without it again. Spend the extra money and buy the straps that hold it together to make it easy to keep the panels together and transport them around when you're not being used. my dog likes to be outside but is really reactive to strangers coming to our apartment complex. plus he likes to eat grass. i was able to lay a beach towel down to prevent grass eating and towels on the panels so he can’t see people entering the complex which helps with his anxiety and fear reactivity. the playpen was a great solution. everything came in great condition. the material is of medium weight not heavy duty at all which i had mixed feelings about. each panel is very light which is probably for portability. i was able to lean on it when i was hanging out with him in there. it was really easy to set up. i’m glad i didn’t go any higher than 32” height. for reference, he’s a 20 lbs boston terrier and on his hind legs he was still a few inches shorter than the panels. i debated between 8 panels and 16 panels because of the price break for the larger set but the 8 panels were perfect for my current needs and i can expand in the future. i’d also recommend purchasing the bag (it was a hard decision because of the price) as i was storing the panels in the box it came in and it was awkward to move around and the stakes kept falling out of the box. the reason i gave it four stars is the paint chips really easily and mixed feelings of sturdiness (i had high expectations lol). i’ve used it twice and the paint is already chipping. i can spray paint as needed. overall, it’s a nice looking play pen, expandable, and portable. time will tell with durability. ... show more

We have a pet bunny who we take camping with us. We hated keeping her in the trailer all day so I went looking and found this little fence. It’s always 50/50 on how an Amazon purchase will go. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to put together and take apart. The rod idea is great and made it super simple. My kids can do this without a grown up. Just watch for punched fingers, but they did send a set of gloves for safety. We started smaller and by the end of the trip had used all the panels for more space for her. She loved being outside and being with us. Plenty of space for 2 kids ages 10-12 to sit in there with her for snuggles. Would love to see some sort of stretchy sun shade for fitting over it as an accessory. We would use it and I’m sure it would be helpful for other small pet owners who use it. We have a lot of hawks around our home so an old craft sheet became our sunshade but wasn’t not attractive 😂 Fairly sturdy but not sure how secure it would be for tipping for a larger pet even with the stakes. It’s perfect for small pets or well behaved non-jumpers. My kids loved the little gated worked smoothly and less trip hazard trying to lift your leg over the top. Definitely recommend! ... show more

I have both the 40 inch high and the 50 inch high. I love them for my semi permanent application. I am an older woman and am able to erect this myself. I use garden stakes to brace it. I zip tie everything together. I have some against a lattice enclosure around my patio that proved too short to contain my Frenchie who is a real acrobat. I have them tied together and it's working great. Cannot say how long it might last without rusting as I put the first set up a little over a month ago. Only thing I don't like is now I feel like I am in jail, but I know my dog is going to be safely contained and that's what matters. ... show more

The fencing arrived and was in excellent condition except for one panel which had 3 dents and a slight curve. The box it was packed in was not damaged so it appears this panel was dented prior to shipping. I have not yet assembled the entire 16 panels to know if the damage will compromise this one panel. A replacement panel would be appreciated. I give 3 stars. Edit: I contacted FXW's customer service, which was extremely helpful. They are resolving my problem with a replacement panel, as I requested. I have changed my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars due to the speed of the resolution. ... show more

I was very happy with this dog playpen. The packaging was great- you could tell it was packed very carefully. The individual gates are nice and very easy to put together. I am going to use the gates in different parts of the house to block our puppy away from stairs and other areas. The poles that put the gates together have a point on the bottom that would be helpful outside but may cause scratches on our hardwood floor so I may need to put something on the bottom of them or prevent that. I have only had this a few days but so far I’ve am very pleased and would recommend it. ... show more

I bought this for my new puppy. Initially had an issue with delivery which the company thankfully rectified right away. The playpen was sturdy and very easy to put together. I prefer this playpen to the crate initially recommend to me as it is more spacious, less confining for the dog, and can be expanded if needed. I set up the playpen outside on my deck blocking the opening to the stairs. The puppy cannot climb over or open the door. Overall my puppy and I enjoy the playpen — I like that she is safe and won’t fall below through the wooden slats of the deck and she enjoys sunbathing outside. ... show more
