This kit really woke up my engine. The throttle response is way crisper now compared to the stock carb. It’s a great 'all-in-one' set because it comes with the intake and the filter, so you aren't hunting for extra parts to make it work. Just take your time tuning it and you'll be set.

Picked this up for a 196 I swapped into my GMB100. The black looks so much better than the standard silver. Everything fit together as expected. Gaskets, manifold, hardware, etc. everything worked and fit as it should. I swapped out to a 100 jet before first use. The last VM22 I ran on this engine had it so I knew the engine would like it. After a few slow prime pulls gave it a rip and fired right up. Did a little tuning to set the idle where I wanted it but since then it’s been firing up first or second pull every time. I installed the FVRITO VM22 26mm Carburetor kit on my setup and initially, everything seemed fine, but unfortunately, it didn’t last long. By the next day, the carb was leaking, which was disappointing after taking the time to install it. I ended up returning the product due to the issue. To be fair, it’s possible I received a faulty unit, as these things can happen with parts like this. The kit itself looked complete and the concept is solid, but the durability in my case just wasn’t there. If you’re considering this, it might be worth checking everything closely after install or being prepared in case you need to exchange it. Overall, my experience wasn’t great due to the leak, but it may have just been a one-off defect. ... show more

Easy to install right out of the box without tuning and I have a heavily modified 212. Much better than stock better power better throttle response. Much easier to start. I will fine tune the air to fuel ratio, but at the moment it runs right out the box. Be aware of placement on engine.

Honestly it works. The filter is extremely fragile and let's in a LOT. Hardware is kinda a pain on install but overall not bad. Just plan on using a filter sock for it

Excellent quality carb kit. Easy to install. Runs great on Massimo MB200S 196cc engine. Will need to order a 50 inch throttle cable to go with slide carb if your existing carburetor is not a slide type carb. My son loves this carb with the 110 jet. You might have to tinker with the clip location on the needle to get a good running idle (check YouTube videos if you are unsure how to adjust the needle clip position). Took us about 30 min to dial in the needle clip, air/fuel and idle adjustments. She runs great now. Try turning up the idle for cold starts. We haven’t had much luck using the choke but that’s not an issue for us. Also recommend the K&N 62-1450 38mm air filter for the intake. ... show more
