    • Produces little boost, even with 80mm pulley leaving alot to be desired
This refurbished charger produces some boost, but does not produce the same as a non-refurbished charger with coated rotors. Expect a ~2psi drop from that of a non refurbished unit. This leaves a lot to be desired and if running a stock pulley size, you may only net 1-2psi of boost! The other issue with this charger is the input shaft has far more teeth than that of the original SC14 charger, so you can't use a real oem SC14 pulley on these. Your stuck having to go custom or finding something to match. The snout on this varies too depending on unit (got a thick snout) and requires super thin bearings be used for pulley. Not ideal at all. So unless you plan on making your own hub for a 80-82mm pulley you probably won't see gains and even then, recommend staying away and picking up a non refurb with rotors that are in good shape. ... show more
