These cat food packets are nice high quality cat food. It's about an equal mix of gravy and meat. That said the meat does lodge in the bottom of the packet so I suggest rinsing it loose with water or using a spoon to get it out of the packet. The MSRP is pretty good for what it is. 3 of my cats really liked this cat food. Number 4 is a snob, so I'm not surprised he didn't go for it. The food itself is mostly gravy though. I ended up using it as a topper for their dry food instead of a full meal.

    • Loads of gravy!
This was our first time trying Fussie Cat in Gravy. And wow, there is a lot of gravy! We have three cats that eat a diet of a small amount of dry food but mostly wet food. For the majority of their meals, I feed the same brand. However, I like to keep a few "special" brands around to give them for one of their daily meals as a treat and to mix things up a bit. I had my doubts upon opening the pouch. It appears to be small chunks of thick cream looking gravy. There was a few pieces of fish and a LOT of gravy. I didn't put all the gravy in the dish the first time, as I was concerned about upsetting their stomachs. Like all pouch foods, it was a little challenging to get all the food out of the pouch without getting it all over my hands. Of note, this does contain Carrageenan which is a controversial ingredient. Carrageenan is found in most low and mid-grade cat foods so nothing out of the ordinary there. I don't think I would purchase the gravy style food again. I'm just not comfortable feeding so much gravy to my kitties. This is definitely more of a treat style food than something I can see feeding as a whole meal. ... show more

My cats went crazy for this cat food! I am using it as a treat on top of their regular dry cat food. They can't get enough of it. If you want to feed this exclusively, you'll have to give your cat several packets a day, depending on their size/weight, according to the instructions. At this price point that's not going to be an option for me to do consistently, but as a treat now and then they sure do like it! The packs are not resealable, so I'm using a chip clip to seal them up after opening. ... show more

    • Cats enjoyed but the pouches are annoying!
My cats enjoyed this food. They are usually pate fans but they did pretty good eating this one. They did leave a few chunks behind but nothing crazy. It's an impressive looking food. Looks almost exactly like human tuna pouches. My biggest complaint is how difficult it is to get the food out of the pouch! Unless you take a spoon and scrape out the pouch, you end up with a lot of leftover food stuck in the pouch. This is a complaint I have across the board for pouch foods. ... show more

I got these because my 17-year-old cat loves to eat gravy as opposed to huge pieces of meat. He's very happily gobbled down a whole box of these. They are priced very competitively and my cat hasn't had any ill effects from eating these pouches of cat food. Compared to some store-bought brands, I felt like you got more content inside each pouch than you would have at the store and the price is better. I will reorder. ... show more

    • Mostly gravy but fine at first, then made my cat sick
There's very little meat inside each pouch, and looking at the feeding instructions you need a lot of them for a daily feeding. My cat appreciated it at first, because tuna but then got sick twice after having eaten it, the second time it was pretty bad and got us really worried. It could of course have been a coincidence.
