Good fit, lightweight and easy to wear, comfortable to hike in or wear for long periods. They’re pretty well-made — they’ve handled moisture, sun, rocks, etc in the month or so I’ve worn them and still show no signs of sole failure or stitching separation. For the price they feel like really good value.

I ordered these for my husband, who's a standard 9.5. He says they're comfortable and feel sturdy. As to size, he says they're just a tiny bit large--not a half size, just a little large. With it being winter in the Midwest, he said it was actually rather nice. He would wear very heavy socks or layer his socks and then the fit was pretty much spot on. He wanted these for the steel cap toes more than anything else. Although the kevlar layer makes for a great conversation piece, I cannot attest to the boot's ability to withstand bullets. I'll take their word on it being kevlar! Really, he had only one issue, and it's barely an issue. The boots? The boots are great! The laces, though? The laces are crap. Seriously, though, for boots that are this great at this price? We can supply our own laces!

These boots are incredibly lightweight—much more than I expected! They slip on like a comfortable pair of sneakers, which was a pleasant surprise. At first glance, they look like standard hiking boots, but the soft materials make them feel completely different. I've walked through thick snow in these, and they’ve held up well, proving to be fully waterproof. The softness of the material also makes them exceptionally comfortable for long wear. The insoles provide excellent grip, even on smooth tiled surfaces. If you're looking for steel-toed boots that don’t feel bulky, these are a great choice. My only complaint is that they run a bit large—I should have ordered half a size smaller.
