    • Not as nice as the Greystone I replaced but no beep!
Bought to replace a 36" curved Greystone "fireplace" that came with our Reflection Fifth Wheel. (The Greystone lasted 5 years.) Likes: Very good price and east to install. Love that the controls don't beep every time you touch them (like the Greystone). The remote and temperature settings work great, and it puts out heat almost immediately. Dislikes: The background and general look is a throwback to the old timey fireplaces. Doesn't look as nice as the Greystone. Also, at 1700 watts it puts out slightly less heat and that become somewhat noticeable in 32 degree weather. The frame was slightly smaller than the Greystone so I ended up putting in some trim pieces. The install screws were shorter and smaller than the factory install. Also the trim piece is magnetic, and it fell off after driving down a bumpy road. Overall: If you need a replacement for your RV, this is a fine choice, especially at this price point (under $200). It puts out a decent level of heat, the remote is nice, and it installs easily. If you can get the Greystone and don't mind the extra price, I'd go for that but again this is a fine replacement RV fireplace. ... show more

Bought this unit to replace unit in our rv. It required modifications to the opening by adding wood strips because it was smaller. Once mounted it works great if you use the manual controls, but the remote control doesn't work. Changed batteries and still doesn't work. Cheap product.

It puts out heat, which you can set the temperature, timer to shut off. You can control the flame. Great valve for the price.

It’s either on low or on high but you have to turn it on and off.

    • Effective and better than previous heater
The heat output and decorative flame are better than the heater I replaced. The temperature is set in 5 degree increments which is inconvenient at times and it isn't as quiet as the previous. Overall I am pleased with the heater.
